    The IS200 is a amazing car. BMW and Benz are nothing compared to these cars. The only thing about the IS is the speed. Such a good car, could do with more Grunt!!

    Chips away are great. Have you dented her or just scratched? If you have stacked her into a post then see a Bodyshop. Dent Master & Chips Away do a really good job. If it aint to full on. Dont expect them to re-build your front end after a proper bang.

    I agree with Colin. Stick with Nippon Denso. They make most of the electrical stuff for Lexus/Toyota. Unipart is Austin/Rover Sh-te.

    Thanks for all your help on this one geezers. Tryed a set of GS MKII 17` 5 Spokes on her the other day. Not big enough. The arches swallowed up the wheels proper. Looking at those I think I need 20`s.

    Sorry people this proves my point. Your talking about worries with imports. She has history but its all in japanese. I cant read japanese! I have seen alot, take my word for it. Altezzas are not the IS200 Lexus. Toyota build certain cars for different markets. Altezzas are Toyotas not Lexus. I really dont mean to offend anyone here, If I have I am so sorry. Im only speaking from experience.

    Some fair comments there. What I mean by stacked is crashed. The car could have been in a serious accident and there is no HPI available to check. You have changed my view though mate.

    There are some imports I can understand buying. IS with big lumps are well worth it. Why buy a Celsior?? For the same money pretty much you can buy a LS. Which as you know is full spec. Please tell me if you think im wrong.

    Go to your Lexus dealer. They can send your stereo away for a estimate.

    I dont wanna upset anyone here but import cars worry me!! See the following list of worries. No history. Has It been stacked? Most have been ragged by japanese rude boys. Why spend ten grand on an import when you can buy a UK IS for about the same money. Specs can be higher or lower. Turbos, bigger engines on Japanese models which is good. Trim level is Toyota not Lexus. After putting that I think Im losing my own argument. Rather have a f--k off engine than a bit of leather!!
