  1. That JDM one for sale is mine, will be sorely missed The 112mph limit has never impacted me anyway !
  2. Appreciate the feedback, its been on my mind for some time. I do find that the standard exhaust with the cats removed sounds reasonable though so I keep going over and over in my head on getting a cat back or not. The comments above are interesting too as my neighbours tell me it sounds great on cold start-up whereas I might just be used to it now. Its a tough one, spend some cash and try it, but maybe its a waste and I should get a new rad and pump, hahah
  3. Yeah, the air vents changed and are a slightly different size at the back as well as the curve (if its a newer Nav from a newer car)
  4. Make the most of it 🙂 I never seen any of the flooding at all, must have been more central. Awful that its happened mate but good to see you are getting on with it and making the most of it
  5. Someone else will maybe confirm but I'm sure they are different and not easily swapped
  6. Fitted the kit with new bolts today and its better, but still there. However its clearly the rear now. Ordered the rear set this time, much cheaper from Bell Lexus in the US through Ebay. I would happily have ordered here if they weren't over twice the price for the fitting kit. Fingers crossed for when they arrive, at least its better and clearer
  7. Nice one, that 13 plate in Swindon looked great, I too had my eye on it for a while like many others. Glad you enjoy it. You are right about being happy with something, enjoy life, if you can afford it, go for it. For me the sign of a great car is one that you miss driving, you want to just go for a drive. I haven't had that for a while until I got the ISF.
  8. Unfortunately still there, seems to be drivers side front. I was thinking of getting a fitting kit like this: http://www.lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/parts/lexus-is-f/lexus-is-f-2007-2014/brakes-transmission/lexus-is-f-front-pad-fitting-kit/ As well as the slider pin and see if that helps. Expensive fitting kit though! It seems to come with pins and guide though by the looks of it:
  9. Thanks guys, I drove it back from the garage there and i didnt notice anything. They said it was still doing it so will give it a good test tomorrow. Appreciate the comments, if its still doing it I think i'll try new pins first So annoying 🙂
  10. Hey guys Looking for any ideas. A month or so ago a started getting what sounded like pad rattle on the ISF, Ive had it in two different places and nothing can be found. Pins seems fine, pads are all fine as are all the fittings. Replaced the front pads while we were there and still no difference. I sounds like a light metal rattle only over bumps on the road, and it goes away with light pressure on the brake pedal. Wondered if anyone else had a similar issue? I was thinking of trying new pins?
  11. As some above, use Nengun for some stuff, RHD Japan are decent too. Nengun have a service to use the Yahoo auctions in Japan, its a bit of a faff with costs back and forth but works fine.
  12. Thats what I thought too. I was going to get a set from the US till I seen these, so far so good 🙂 Made a mistake on the rear anti roll bar upgrade, didnt get new drop links at the same time
  13. Morning guys Anyone tried Hardrace parts before? I was looking to install lower front control arm bushes and found these available easily in the UK. Actually got them fitted yesterday along with a new rear anti roll bar and quite pleased with the results. I couldnt find any info on the forum but thought id take a punt. So far so good and not badly priced either. Anyone else have experience before?
  14. I seen there is a cheap RCF on the approved used site, seems cheaper than normal to me anyway: https://usedcars.lexus.co.uk/en/used-lexus/Lexus/Rc-F-Coupe/500-50-2dr-Auto-n5ca7gw Its just a one-off from what I can tell as the ISF prices still seem strong to me. I keep eyeing up that 13 plate silver one for £22k I keep get tempted to get something newer than my JDM 08 but then sense kicks in and for the price increase I wont be gaining much. Everyone loves a treat though 🙂
  15. Agree with the above, I only stumbled onto SG a few months back but have been working through his reviews. I enjoyed his Mx5 series too, lots and lots of extra info and detail you dont get in most other reviews.
  16. Been meaning to wash the IS for a while now, plenty of extra home time so why not
  17. Managed to source a cheap Phase 2 vent. Fitted with a slice off the back but its not perfect, better than it was but once I can be bothered again I might take it out and re-adjust between radio, nav and vents to see if I can get it a little bit better
  18. The OBD connector also activates the reverse detection and camera, certainly for cars with the camera already there anyway
  19. I know this is a little bit of an older thread. Got mine working finally after a lot of forum checking. My hard drive had failed so I thought id try it. This was on a Nav car of course. Seems decent so far but time will tell. I managed to install the Android unit but did need a phase 2 vent to fit correctly. The standard 2008 vents dont quite fit unless you butcher them.
  20. This is where is spotted the Fox exhaust: https://www.dcperformance.co.uk/uprated/fox-exhaust-backboxes/lexus/isf.html Two choices there, I assume the different tips? Given the info above though, I'm swayed to the H&S now
  21. Totally agree. I love the idea but waiting on more reviews when its closer to release. I went to my local dealer and as I was looking at the Alpine A110 I thought Id check out the Supra. I didnt get the drive it but I came away pretty disappointed with the interior, poor visibility etc. The A110 just felt much more like an occasion, visibility was much better (front), I must be getting old as Ive never fussed much about visibility before!
  22. Also interested 🙂 The Fox exhaust seems a bit of a bargain so any opinions on that would be grateful too
  23. Although not quite in the same league as some above, I really liked the Alpine A110 I was in a few weeks ago, felt quite special to me Felt special but something that could be used daily as well as a great weekend car, great on fuel is a bonus too
