  1. Had a good time today. Good to see everyone old and new. Lots of nice cars as well :-) Roll on the next one :-)

I dont think we met. but as you were the only other person with a IS200 yours must of been the black one. was looking at it, nice example you have :)

I think when we came out from eating, you must have went in!! Your car looked good too. All the best in America :-)

  2. Love those wheels, almost bought them myself but check your offsets before forking out. Everywhere only seemed to have them in 35mm. By my calcs they were going to be sticking out the arches in an 18x8. I bottled it and went for the ev32 which has a higher offset of 42 and the fronts are pretty much flush with the arches. Can always mod the arches of course...

The websites I'm looking at are saying that there a suitable fit for the car so should be ok

Don't always believe what the websites tell you. You need to find out the exact dimensions of the wheel and the offset. Some websites will tell you that an offset of et35 is ok for an is200...........

  3. Is anyone else bringing the other half and/or kids? Wife doesnt want to be the only woman there and 7yr old would get bored on her own?

Asking because wife says she'll stop at home otherwise.

I'm bringing my 7 year old son. The last meet i took him to, he went home and said "Mummy, Daddy needs to buy a big exhaust". I'm still working on that one, so that's why I'm bringing him :-)

  4. I've got 17 x 8 et40 running 225/45/17 tyres, lowered 30mm, and i don't get any rubbing, so you should be fine :)

    Thanks for the reply guys.

Hey ally just noticed you have the rims I was first looking at but I figured 8" might have been too wide. How do you get on with the OZ ultra's could I get away with the 235/45/17 on the rear wheels?

My tyre side wall is right on the limit of flushness on my rears, and that is with a slightly stretched 225 tyre width. You would be pushing it with 235s. I'll try and post up a photo later.

  5. Hi, i've not posted on here for about 3 years. I'd got my car how i wanted it, and then lost all interest for some reason. But i think the bug might be biting again, as i could do with a new exhaust :whistling: . I've updated my signature to how my car is now. I might even post some photos up.

    cheers
