  1. Took the car back to the garage i got it and they replaced the rear suspension bushes after waiting a week for them to be delivered and no difference. The garage booked the car in to Lexus Aberdeen and they put the spare wheel on so that both back tyres had the same tread pattern and yipeee all is well. The tyres on the back only had different tread patterns and were the same size!! Just something to keep in mind"!!
  2. Oh well looks like my warranty has just ran oot in april so i have no chance of some new rims cheers for the responses anyways
  3. Whats the deal with getting new wheels for your car cause mine are corroding and i have seen a lot of posts on here about people getting them replaced free of charge. What are the rules to getting new wheels bearing in mind my car is a 2001!! Cheers
  4. Under braking all is well it is just when you gun it in any gear that it pulls hard to the right. 35k on the clock and i think it is some bushes on the rear but i have little experience of rear drive cars!!
  5. As above really and the same is true when you let of the throttle it pulls to the left. Have just got my 200 sport so any advice would be good before i take it back to where i got it!!!
  6. Cheers for all the advice!! Think the carpark in the rain option sounds good!!
  7. Just bough a 2001 Y plate IS 200 sport and I have heard that the wet handling can be unpredictable on them. This is the first rear wheel drive car either me or the girlfreind has owned and i am a bit apprehensive. Imean does it just step out when you make it or doe the traction control sort it all out anyway. I am not a novice driver by any means and own a Golf Vr6 for hacking around the country lanes but the rear drive is a new concept to me. Any comments much appreciated.
