The briefest visit to the "Costa del Sol" has made me realise it is not for me! Some of the construction of these beachside 70's 80's apartments is simply shocking. White plaster falling off to reveal the flimsiest brickwork. Certainly not Lexus standard!

Well after 20 mile back from tacky coast to mountain loveliness with the top down, I can confirm that Panama hats stay put without recourse to string or velcro. Road was in middle of pic, dodging the mountains.

The mansion we are staying at, the owner lives on the middle floor, we have the top. Lower floor she just does not use...we have to use it to access the pool. Done out in a Moroccan stylee.

Met a German Princess whose husband was in the Luftwaffe Condor division in the Civil War. Guess thats where they got their love for Spain....heaps of money helps when you live in fashionable Marbella. (He was 32 years older than her!)

I am noticing a little rubbing sound as I go thru little echo chamber pueblos. Maybe rear brake pads touching discs. Front discs and pads just been done so suspect rears. Some of these Spanish provincial supermarkets are amazing.

Got my sat nav plugged into dash cigar lighter. Definitely goes off when ignition key is removed. -

Ramon comes up trumps. Just a sniff of the moist cork and I knew all was good. Brambles and oak Thin robe but still some fruit evident and a hint of American Oak. Whiffs of damsons and berries with just the faintest tinge of oxidation on the finish. The bottle will have to be drunk squickly, hic. See what I did there?
