Just checked. Your car is not subject to the fuel pump recall and there are no other recalls for it. -

Looks good, it's from Osaka where they don't get much snow. What is your chassis number? I can check if the fuel pump recall has been completed in Japan. -

So that means it wasn’t brought at an auction. Under detailed history. What was the last 3 location? -

Look at the jap chassis number which is stamped at the door plate. It should say GWL10-xxx Put that number into carvx.jp and pay a small fee post the link to the report here and I can help with the translation of some of the auction comments. -

It’s easy to check the auction they brought it from. The sold price in JP and the auction sheet which will mark out the grade of the car, including replaced panels or repaired. lots of f sport from Japan are minor crash repaired. I look at these auctions every day. -

The traction battery will go out prematurely at some point because of excessive current draw. You need to apply the update that was applied to 2011 models. -
I wouldn't charge it with the AGM mode, the normal mode is suitable for AGM. AGM mode just sends it a higher voltage which is not required. Also AGM doesn't really last longer, it's to do with safety because there is no liquid that can leaked when your car is rear ended and is upside down, thats why all batteries in the boot is AGM. Imagine this, someone rear ends your car, your car flips and the battery case cracks leaking acid into your face and eyes while you're stuck inside.

I wouldn't use the recond function on the CTek for the AGM. AGM doesn't really like high voltage pulses and also I am not sure if this is bad for the cars electronics if you leave the terminal connected. The "normal" mode is what I use for AGM, if you read the manual, the AGM mode is only for certain AGM batteries, not the Panasonic one. Also, what is the voltage of the battery after you have charged it and left it overnight? The voltage will tell you the state of charge and you'll know if your batter is still good (can hold charge), or needs replacement. -
I would never buy a car from turners auction, mostly they are trade-in from dealers that they want to get rid of. Also, if you wanted a 3rd gen GS450h, get one from mid-2010. They have had ECU reprogramming to reduce drain on the traction battery, which was the main reason why pre-2010 models needed to have traction batteries replaced.
