  1. Nx is being replaced and so will the RX in 2022. The GS450h will always be the latest hybrid RWD sedan from Lexus as there is no replacement. It will hold its value better than the current generation NX and RX once the new generation is released.
  2. No reported issues with 2012+ Gs450h or gs300h. however 2006-2010 Gs has has plenty of their battery packs replaced. It’s a known problem with internal TSB.
  3. What error code did you get with the oil pump.
  4. Just checked. Your car is not subject to the fuel pump recall and there are no other recalls for it.
  5. You can get the one from Denso. Same as OEM. Cheaper.
  6. Looks good, it's from Osaka where they don't get much snow. What is your chassis number? I can check if the fuel pump recall has been completed in Japan.
  7. there is no 'flashing'. A DTC is a DTC, it if comes back then there is an issue.
  8. So that means it wasn’t brought at an auction. Under detailed history. What was the last 3 location?
  9. Look at the jap chassis number which is stamped at the door plate. It should say GWL10-xxx Put that number into carvx.jp and pay a small fee post the link to the report here and I can help with the translation of some of the auction comments.
  10. It’s easy to check the auction they brought it from. The sold price in JP and the auction sheet which will mark out the grade of the car, including replaced panels or repaired. lots of f sport from Japan are minor crash repaired. I look at these auctions every day.
  11. F Sport in Jap it’s fully optioned. The only non standard item is the ML audio.
  12. Lexus will do recalls on imports, as required by law. There will be no warranty from Lexus, even with a brand new import from Japan. If a dealer offers it, that’s on them. there is zero difference between the hybrid systems. Parts are 100% the same.
  13. The traction battery will go out prematurely at some point because of excessive current draw. You need to apply the update that was applied to 2011 models.
  14. I wouldn't charge it with the AGM mode, the normal mode is suitable for AGM. AGM mode just sends it a higher voltage which is not required. Also AGM doesn't really last longer, it's to do with safety because there is no liquid that can leaked when your car is rear ended and is upside down, thats why all batteries in the boot is AGM. Imagine this, someone rear ends your car, your car flips and the battery case cracks leaking acid into your face and eyes while you're stuck inside.
  15. I wouldn't use the recond function on the CTek for the AGM. AGM doesn't really like high voltage pulses and also I am not sure if this is bad for the cars electronics if you leave the terminal connected. The "normal" mode is what I use for AGM, if you read the manual, the AGM mode is only for certain AGM batteries, not the Panasonic one. Also, what is the voltage of the battery after you have charged it and left it overnight? The voltage will tell you the state of charge and you'll know if your batter is still good (can hold charge), or needs replacement.
  16. i have both the NOCO and CTek MXS5.0. However I wouldn't use the recond function on them, not comfortable with it sending high voltage pulses when the battery is still connected to the car with all these electronics.
  17. correct. however installing the eyelets on my gs or rx hybrids prevent the boot mats from closing, so I had to do without them.
  18. Many CTeks have the AGM mode. I have used the AGM mode many times on my RX450h and GS450h and haven't seen any adverse effects (still on the same battery). Are you seeing negative effects?
  19. I would never buy a car from turners auction, mostly they are trade-in from dealers that they want to get rid of. Also, if you wanted a 3rd gen GS450h, get one from mid-2010. They have had ECU reprogramming to reduce drain on the traction battery, which was the main reason why pre-2010 models needed to have traction batteries replaced.
