I've checked all the vacuum pipes there all ok, took the o2 sensors out, took all the coilpacks out n spark plugs cleaned an put in again, all the plugs off the engine bay cleaned ect, no engine light on I plugged the car in no fault codes coming up. I seen someone else on here had a similar problem it was crank sensor?

No i havent checked them, I washed the car under the bonnet yesterday an ever since it's limiting at 4000rpm

Did you ever find out what the problem was? I've a 1999 sport and it's limiting at 4000rpm I've checked coilpacks and vacuum pipes can see no problem.
