I have my TC turned off all the time, I know it's there to help us drive, but I found that the TC cut in to soon. It also found that it slows down your acceleration and the fun of drifting on roundabouts. Why have a rear wheel drive car and not play with it.

No nothing was taken, I had 20 cd's in the glove box, and hands free kit on the centre console. There is no damage at all. Police think it may be a steal to order that went wrong.

Last night my 52 Plate IS200 was broken into, I locked the car and the alarm was set. When I went to the car this morning the boot was open, driver and passenagers door a jar, glove box open, ash tray open and both the console holes open. There is no sign of forced entry. Does any one know of a way of open the car with out the alarm going off and opening the doors. I have tested the alarm this evening ( and it's loud) and that works fine. Is there a loop hole in the alarm system!!

I had a phone call from Lexus today, and they are going to take the car for a week and sort the problem out !!. They will be given me a loan car for the week, I i will keep it longer if it is still not fixed. I well worth making a fuss. Thanks for all the tips.

I have an IS200 with the engine warning light on in the dash. The car has been to the Lexus dealer 5x now and they have replaced the speed sensor on the gearbox. This cleared the light for one day then it came back on. On the last visit they had the car all day and said that they had found a faulty insulation on the wire to the speed sensor, and this would resolve the problem. Guess what the lights back on, Lexus dealer has said they have no idea and will need to contact LEXUS UK. Has any one got any ideas what may be the problem. The car is still under warranty.
