  1. You will be able to find it here: https://www.lexus.co.uk/owners/about-my-lexus/my-lexus-portal/lexus-link When you create an account and later add your your vehicle VIN and the GPS serial number to your account, the portal will tell you which components were installed already and which aren't. This the best way to see which needs to be installed and upgraded. Edit: I forgot to mention, I am using MyLexus portal, instead of MyLink app, as the app is not available in my country for the time being.
  2. Usually, when you enter your VIN and GPS serial number, the Lexus website will tell you which tools and firmwares were installed from the previous owner. In my case everything was installed and I was surprised I do not have to do anything unless they release something in the near future. The process itself is very well described into the guidelines and takes ~1hr.
  3. Mine came with a typre repair kit. I do not have a space for a spare wheel. I checked and I was very surprised as I wanted to travel a bit. When I checked the manual it turned out, they are using the space for the hybrid battery and they provide a repair kit in case you smash your tyre. Another interesting reason they mention is the weight saving, but we all know - we are not here for the speed and weight, but for the comfort of the ride. Edit: So the only option I have is to add it in the trunk.
  4. Thanks, Matt. This is very useful information. I appreciate your help with this.
  5. Thanks for the information, guys. Your help is highly appreciated. In the following days, I will check with the local dealeship to see what price they will offer and if its way above those, I will take an advantage of them and replace it by myself. Since it's an only tail light, I do not think this way too hard to be done by an enthusiast. In any way, I will check the service guide to get an idea what needs to be done to be replaced.
  6. Hello everybody, Today while I was parking my car, I hit a column and cracked my rear left tail light. Its a small crack, but still if you look closely you will stop it. Yes, I will be able to fix the scratches on the plastic, but the crack, sadly I won't be able to. So I was wondering how much it will cost me to replace it. I saw here and there second hand options, but I'd like brand new, but I cannot find official price for this part. By the check I was able to perform, the part number of the rear left tail light is: 81561-53280
  7. Thanks, Mark. I will reach out to them and see what can be done, but in case this thing is not repairable, what other options do I have, since the suggestion is to aviod Lexus Service?
  8. Hello everybody. I am about to get a very nice IS 300h, but with a problem - the amp (ML) doesn't work e.g. is dead. So far, so good. In my previous car, my audio also doesn't worked, so I get used to drive without a music around me, but since I am planning to do some serious travels with that car around the continent I was wondering what options do I have to get it into an working order. The most important things I am interested in are as follows: - Does this amp has a functional equivalent (for example from another Lexus model which will fit the need)? - Can I use standard amp from car with non-premium sound and get my audio working? - Can I fit normal 3rd party amp with the same purpose as above Or I just have to sacrifice around 2400 euros for e replacement unit, take it to the Lexus service and get it repaired? Of course, before do anything I will take it to a sound tech who will check if this thing can be repaired or it should be declared as non-repairable, but still, I need to know what are my options before doing anything stupid which will cost me a lot of money (e.g. the replacement unit). Thanks for all your inputs. Stay safe!
