  1. Or never actually. I cancelled the order as I got fed up with lack of comms and I lost trust and confidence in AD in general. I just bought GLC300d AMG Premium Plus. Life goes on. Good luck ,guys and enjoy your vehicles.
  2. Does this mean, that in case of losing it, they will replace it for free? Because,presumably, the client has paid for 2 keys,not one. Correct me if I am wrong.

  4. I was just called ( returned call) from Lexus Gatwick , some relatively good news - production to start in 3-4 weeks. NX350h F sport + panroof ( blue paint & red interior).
  5. How exactly your car is for build and you ordered in Mar 22 and I ordered in Feb 22 and nothing yet? I mean - I am happy for you but still confused.
  6. I went to Porsche showroom the other day, for Macan , and they told me more expensive the car would be, less the waiting time.

The problem( or one of) was for example I called them and then someone from front desk replies the sales manager is not available at the moment but they would come back to me on couple of hours( presuming is am). No phone call that day. No phone call the following day. Then sending an email to remind them. Nothing back. How do you depict this as a relationship?
  8. Not sure about you, guys,I am very annoyed already by Lexus AD. Initially I was told they would call me every 2 weeks to update me. First no-one called me for 5 months, then I had to chase them every 2 months. Still no exact date after more than 10 months of waiting after placing the order. This is really concerning. Buying a car is relationship. And clearly the other side cannot cope with the demand or the type of relationship they claim they can deliver. What exact customer satisfaction we are talking about ( per reviews and feedback in media) as they lack behind Seat ( my wife's car) and Mercedes ( mine). Both of the companies are amazing providing prompt replies, quotes, clear messages and accurate information. Honestly... I am 50/50 already to cancel everything and to look for another make. Just venting a bit. Thank you for your time.

  10. Hi there and Merry Christmas. Any idea what the price of the LED headlights is? As a replacement part. For example 3-eye LED. I hear some scary quotes for several K per a headlight. Thank you in advance and I hope you are having a great time off.
  11. But on the other hand, I calm myself that it will be a car with less ( it is hard to safely say "with no") teething problems.
  12. The running costs + parking in Brighton concern me. But thank you anyway, I also have considered it a lot. Furthermore, I believe the NX has new gen hyb/battery that allow the EV to be used up to 70 mph, compared to 30-ish mph for the RX. Correct me if I am wrong.

  14. These thoughts ( to cancel NX350h and get RX450h instead) are quite familiar to me as well. It is just getting ridiculous now with those waiting times. But I can consider preowned 22 plate, for example.

  16. To be honest, I am not very impressed by Lexus customers service and the whole experience. I have been a MB owner for more than 6 years now , and their attitude and punctuality is greater than this - when they tell me they would call me on an exact date - they just do it. With Lexus Gatwick was completely different story. Yes, I got gap insurance and wheels/rims whatever insurance for free as a gift, but once I put my order, they stopped updating me or calling me for 3-4 months, despite they promised to do so every couple of weeks. I know this could be annoying just saying "hello" and then "no news", but I didn`t expect to be abandoned. Then they had change of estimated delivery dates twice and I had to chase them up for this, not them to call me and keep me in the loop. I am just a bit concerned for my future as a client and all the problems the car may have and how they will handle them if they act the same like now. What are your thoughts about it? I would love to read some different view or opinion. Kind regards Dimi
  17. Just had a quick chat over the phone with one of the sales executives from Gatwick. Long story short- 2 more months delay and probably I will have 23 plate too . Somewhere in April 2023 would be the pick up date. I am getting annoyed a bit,but on the other hand - I am teying to convince myself they will fix some teething problems,so I will benefit from it. Who knows. Patience is not a virtue of mine. BTW, I check the app every day,silly I know. Sometimes it doesn't load at all, sometimes it is just lagging a bit,but it always recognises my registration.

  19. Good evening, everybody. I am sure it has been discussed here, however I couldn't find it hence my question - what is the average timeframe between the car being built and delivery/pickup date? My order has been already postponed once with 5 months. I was told to expect pick up around mid of Feb 2023, however nothing is showed on my Lexus app ( only order accepted and this is it ),and I am getting annoyed again that this will not be feasible for Feb 2023. I sent an email to Lexus Gatwick anyway for more clearance regarding this, but so far it is getting ridiculous as it will be 12 months if no further delays. TIA
  20. I leave in Peacehaven, East Sussex. It is approx. 15k as population and there is already one black NX350h pottering around for some time 🙄
