I am selling my IS 250 convertible.

I am selling my IS 250 Convertible it’s. 2009 in e Excellent condition, it has a current Lexus UK service plan (it’s been looked after by Lexus UK) and a warranty until June 2023 (which can be rescheduled) it currently has 65k on the clock and is top of the range.

I own a 2009 convertible it’s looked after by Lexus on a service plan (excellent price) including 2 MOTs I have never had a roof problem, and the car is also fully covered by a Lexus warranty (again excellent price) the car gets more attention on the road than my SL300 1992 convertible! It’s a bomb proof car.

In June my Lexus service manager offered me a full years warranty including full Lexus breakdown down cover on my 2009 IS 250 convertible £499 for a full year as long as the vehicle is not over 15 years old (mine is 12 years old) it covers all major components (not brake pads and tyres ) but for example Water pumps my hood! Gearbox engine so great value.

Lexus offered me a years full warranty parts and Labour for one year and full breakdown cover on my IS250 for £499 it’s because Lexus has now increased it’s warranty for cars up to 15 years old, I also take out a service plan £595 which gives me a major service Parts and Labour and a small service and two MOTs excellent value.

I have taken out an excellent warranty with Lexus on my 2009 IS convertible £499 for one year including breakdown cover and all parts and Labour.

I am thinking about selling mine……it’s under I year full warranty with Lexus and is in stunning condition,it also has a service plan with Lexus one more free service and MOT, it’s a 2009 model with full Lexus service history and bills etc.

I had the same problem with my 2009 IS 250, Lexus replaced it under my extended warranty which I took out in June, it’s £499 a year for Lexus cars up to 15 years old it’s great value, and covers everything, brakes and tyres are of course not coved but all mechanical items are, including the roof.

Hello all, I own a Lexus IS 250 convertible in stunning condition, I also own a Volvo v90 R design which I have had since 2019 it’s a diesel and very noisy also it’s dropped in price like a stone, I had a NX 300 Hybrid for a test drive for 2 days with a view of trading it in, but the NX was very bumpy on the road and not as quiet as I thought it would be! So I have now traded it in for the Dynamic Rav 4 what a stunning car loads of room and fully loaded with upgrade Apple play and free fittings of my Nextbase, 5 years servicing and the miles per gallon of the Rav is incredible hybrid is great, I understand that the NX is being replaced next year.

Lexus Maidstone fixed my is 250 convertible roof today while I waited and no charge! It just need a reset, I also took out a service contract on my car for 3 services and 2 MOTs (full parts and labour for £599 to me it’s excellent value and they will collect the car and leave me a relief vehicle, it’s to encourage older Lexus models to become classic status, my 2009 IS has full Lexus service history and is in showroom condition so I believe it’s worth the money.

Hi Declan, No you sadly ! The battery is only a year old I am taking it in to Lexus in the morning, they said on the phone it’s more Likely to be a code error, I have used tape to cover the hooks and it’s helping the rattle on the roof I don’t know if this is a cause? Many thank again! G.

Can anyone help? My hard to stops on operation on the closing of the top, but works fine on opening! It’s comes up Operation suspended, I have noticed on the closing of the top it’s got slower. many thanks.

I have seen a space saver wheel and full kit for sale on E Bay, it’s a 17inch and checking the boot on my IS 250 C 2009 model it looks like there is a wheel shape hollow to place it, anyone have a space saver wheel?

Thank you John, Lexus Maidstone found the faulty valve and it just needed a new washer!!!! The leak has stopped now to be fair they where excellent, they offered me a 2 service contract for £580 including full parts and Labour and including 2 MOTs my car next year will need a 60 k service.
