  1. Hello Mateusz, My problem has been going on since last November, and the alert messages recur every car start, if sharing data is not enabled, and the matter has not been resolved. I don't know what is going on at Lexus/Toyota but the problems obviously affect owners not in UK as well, and they haven't resolved it yet. Sorry I can't be of more help just now. Let us know if they solve your problem. Good luck. Tom.
  2. Hello Mateusz, This problem has become more involved than originally realised, and relates to data used by the car systems. I don't think it's a hardware problem, it's likely to be a firmware issue, that remains to be resolved. My understanding is that if you disable the DCM module, no interactive communication is possible, but I don't know how the car system components would be affected. Can your local Lexus/Toyota dealer not assist you? Good luck. Tom.
  3. A further update: An automatic update of the settings function lost all the personal data and a completely different interface was substituted, but without instructions on how to restore lost data or the Information functions. The revised Navigation function no longer seems to respond. Using the car without the normal settings is yet another issue and inconvenience to deal with. Aggravatingly, the "share geo-location" fault is still present. I have asked Lexus and the dealer to take the car and correct the issues without delay, but no agreement on this yet. I don't know if this development has affected others? I am no longer surprised by the appalling level of customer service provided by a premium brand to resolve the ongoing issues.
  4. Further update on this issue: the fault is still present, Lexus referred me to the dealer, the dealer has asked Lexus to help. Is there a hint of avoiding responsibility here? It is certainly frustrating and extremely disappointing!
  5. To provide an update: the "share geo-location data" warning/alert screen dialogue box persists, and nothing so far has prevented recurrence at each start. I've asked Lexus centre and the dealership for help more than once, but no assistance so far. I believe it coincided with an automatic settings update from Lexus about a week or so ago, which was noticed at the same time as the alert appeared. This is very poor service from an up-market brand manufacturer and retailer. I too am at a loss now, and any suggestions are welcome. Very disappointing.
  6. Good morning. My 2023 UX250h F-sport Design has been doing the same thing since last week, and the notification recurs each time the car is restarted. Any suggestions would be welcome. I've asked the dealer and Lexus, but no response so far. It's another unwelcome and irritating multimedia issue, that Lexus don't seem to be able to overcome easily. Regards, Tom.
  7. For information, I recently had a "Catloc" fitted by a Lexus dealer for £250, after being warned about thefts from similar cars locally. The device is a steel plate that is fixed to the underside of the car, covers the catalytic converter, and prevents direct access to it. It looks like a decent piece of kit, hasn't caused any noticeable problems so far, but time will tell no doubt! Hope this helps. Regards, Tom.
  8. Dear All, Glyn's solution seems like a very cost effective option to address the Lexus policy of not providing a spare wheel in some countries. However, for those that are interested, I have a list of all the parts that Lexus fit in a CT spare wheel set, it is recently updated from the lists kindly provided earlier in this thread. Item No. Item Description Part Number No. Required 1 Wheel disk 42611-21150 or 42611-21290 1 2 Tyre (Yokohama) Temporary Space Saver Tyre-125/70 R17 98M 1 3 Wheel Cushion 64777-76020 or 64777-76021 1 4 Caution Label 42668-0D010 1 5 Box-Deck Floor 64993-76030 1 6 Board-Boot Cover 58416-76020-C1 1 7 Carrier-Sub-Assembly-Jack 58709-76010 1 8 Carrier-Bolts 90110-06830 or 90119-06782 3 9 Protectors-Spare Wheel 64768-30020 4 10 Carrier-Spare Wheel-Bolt 51931-76010 1 If these items are bought directly from Lexus as spare parts they cost just over £1000.00, which is a great deal of money for parts that arguably should be an option! If anyone is interested, I have a complete set of these parts that I no longer need, most of which were not fitted to the car and are still as they came from Lexus, so please contact me and we can discuss options. Regards, Tom.
  9. Maurice, Thank you for responding. Would you be willing to provide a photograph of the wheel/tools in the boot well, and is there some form of padding to support the wheel from the metal boot floor? Also do Lexus provide a bag to hold the full size wheel with a punctured tyre? I was expecting a spare wheel to be in the car, but unfortunately not! Thanks again, Tom.
  10. Nicholas, Thank you very much for following up on this topic. For some reason, I have been unable to view either of your attachments, but I have noted your parts listing. I have had some difficulty getting information from some Lexus parts departments, but now seem to have found someone willing to help. I am advised that some of the part numbers have been updated, and prices have increased as you would expect. Incidentally, your list does not include the spare wheel protectors that fit under the wheel. Did you use the Lexus items, or an alternative? Thanks again, and I'll update the post when I have made more progress. Thanks again, Tom.
  11. Maurice, Thank you for the information. Could I trouble you further by asking if you used the parts with the numbers provided in the earlier post, and whether Lexus supplied the parts on the basis of the numbers alone? Thanks again, Tom.
  12. Hello. I have a current model Lexus CT200h (2019/20) that was provided with the tyre repair option, and I want to change this to the space saver spare wheel fitment. I haven't had much help from Lexus, and so I expect to need to arrange this myself. I would much appreciate it if someone could confirm if the part numbers provided in the previous posts for earlier model cars still apply to later models, and whether Lexus will supply the parts on the basis of the numbers alone? Also, one of the posts states that the spare wheel will not completely fit into the spare wheel well of the car, although other posts don't mention this point. Again, I would be grateful if someone could confirm whether the spare wheel will fit fully into the boot well. I have tried a full size wheel, and while the well appears wide enough, the wheel will not fit under the Hybrid battery container, although it can be accommodated on top of the boot tray. I would be most grateful for any information/advice that will help resolve my problem. Many thanks, Tom.
