Alarm did not arrive until yesterday PM (being fitted Monday) and as mentioned on previous thread my insurance is void until its cat 1 or cat 2 'd so could'nt come out to play

Not true................... there are proven kits that work at .5 bar and have for some years now. key is a competant installer & mapper

I also thought all imports had to have a cat 2 as minimum so thats what i said to Mr Flux.....when the form came to say what make I was stymied as there was none ! @ Annees not driven it yet but guy doing set up said at hardest setting it was bone jarring. Has fiddled with damping settings and says its now firm but nice. Hopefully will be able to report back later today. I've sold loads of the BC with no bad reports to date couple of guys on here bought them not sure if they've commented

they do but insurance was granted on basis it had a cat 2 alarm which I thought it had.....they will not pay out for theft as it is now....its in a locked compound in a locked & alarmed workshop so quite safe Should be ready for me to take it to the ring though :winky:

That's not an IS Hybrid - it's the HS250 hybrid - a bit of a parts bin special using parts of the FWD Euro Avensis, the four cylinder US Camry engine and Prius hybrid technology. It's not coming to the UK. Talking to a guy from Lexus the other day they are planning to have a full hybrid line up by 2012. The LS460 is being dropped in the UK, leaving the LS600h only, the new RX is hybrid only, the GS will be 450h only, and the next IS will be dropping the diesel and going all hybrid as well. Broadly what the MD of Lexus Germany told me last year

You care to post your dyno charts for your (no anymore) 420bhp aristo & 370bhp is350 yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwn always thought my risto was quoted at 400bhp which is what the 1.2 bar manual soops with vvt-i are dyno'd at with same mods as mine..... regarding the is350 check out JUN-TW website where they show the dyno of a n/a is250 which is 25 bhp more with their manifold................then the TOM's website who's dyno shows the normal is350 s/c with 352 bhp so 352 + 25 = 384 without fact mine is supercharged so my figure is conservative methinks............ also someone with more brains than me could probably say that a car with the weight & frontal area of my car produces at least the bhp I claim when it does 165 mph (GPS validated) on the autobahn anyway this is offtopic................. lets see the dyno for Yeldarbs beast

Been following this with interest. See you are getting "over 300 bhp" from this I do not recall seeing a dyno chart showwing this ? Do I need to go to spec savers or was one never posted up ? One reason I ask is there are a lot of 3S-GTE engined cars running in the TSS and none get anywhere near this BHP figure without forged pistons and uprated rods which I'm not sure you had done (again may need to go to spec savers)
