Hi Guy's, Was busy at work, this is how it went : Dropped the car off on the 19th and was given a Loan 23 Plate UX 250H Sport, got a phone call telling me this Steam machine will be coming on the 20th. Got a phone call saying it's done, so I went the next day, I was very disappointed after the treatment the creases were slightly visable, but after a week they're back to how it was. I told the service agent the creases are still there and she said give it a couple of months, I'm not waiting that long I'll give it couple of days. She said something very interesting "Are you guys aware that the Leather seats on the Takumi are just seat Covers" She said the 1st attempt is to steam the crease out, which it didn't, and the next is to change the Leather seat cover, and not only that steaming the cover they left a couple of scuff marks. I'm sending some photos, you can compare the photos of the seat from my first post to this one

Hi Good morning, I just dropped off my car and given a 23 Plate UX loan car (actually not bad) I was told by one of the agents they're going to (Steam The Leather Seat) that's the first thing they will do, that's all she said, they'll call me at the end of the day for an update, also we'll keep the car definitely for 2 day's but it could be 3 day's.

For the Takumi models like mine they come with Real soft Leather

Wow you know your stuff, I really can't imagine them rejecting this under wear and tear, I've only done 1200 miles!!! I always thought Lexus customer service was top notch the best, so I'm hoping they fix my seat

He wasn't saying much, but closer to time I'll ask him again, I'll be sure to take plenty of pictures, they can do 1 of 2 things either replace the seat (which isn't happening) or repair it, if they are repairing it, it should be done by some specialist's. Thanks

Hi Everybody, thanks for all who replied. Just an Update, Got a call from the Dealer today telling me my car is booked for the 19th March at the Dealership, they will keep the car for a few days so that some technicians can look at the seat, a Loan car will be given to me. Any thought's on this guy's, are they're likely to repair the seat?

Hi Gary, My car's only done 1100 miles, I took it easy for the first miles so it's barely run in, the passenger and the back seats have no issues they look brand new, I'm just waiting to hear back from the Dealer

Hi there, I've got a 350H Takumi Sep 1st 73 Plate, My Driver seat is showing signs of Leather stretching and kind of lines or folds. I went today to collect my 2nd Key Fob and while there they also had the Locking wheel nuts which they fitted. I saw one of the service agents and told him about the Leather seat he said it's just wear and tear, I said my car is only 5 Months old this can't be happening, there were 3 other NX350h parked in the yard none of them had this stretching marks, he just kept repeating there's nothing wrong. I saw the salesman who sold me the car to his credit he was understanding he took some photos of the seat and said he'll send it over to the warranty dept and he will contact me of the outcome, I am sending some photos of the seat so you guy's can see and give me your thoughts. I was also reluctant to try it on my 350H Takumi, but when finishing work the work car park was almost empty, so opened the app turned on the Location, then unlocked the car, then the app asked in which direction, I chose straight then with your finger I started going conterwise and my 350H started coming forward, as soon as you slow down the circular movements the car stops immediately.

That's absolutely shocking!!!!! Could be because not all of the tyre shops have this size

Finally after 6 weeks and 360 miles of stop/start traffic with no dual or motorway driving, I'm on 1 bar now just 2 questions Should I fill up now straight away or wait till the warning light comes on Do I use normal Unleaded Fuel? Or the supreme fuel, I think the dealer did mention normal Unleaded, I just want to make sure. Thanks

I have to disagree, my Takumi on 20 inch rim, the ride is good any uneven manhole covers the car just glides over it

Hi Andy, The cable I was using I got it from Amazon, like you suggested try a different cable, so I used the oringal usb cable that came with the phone and "Bingo" I connected straight away to Android Auto. Thanks 👍

Hi Andy, Thanks for that, My car is simply a joy to drive, I've did 106 miles before the first Fuel gauge bar went. I'm getting no error messages on the infotainment screen or my phone, could it be because of Huawei is on the entity list? Or could it be because my Operating system is EMUI 12, which I think is based on the Google system

Hi All, Can somebody help me to connect my Huawei P30 Pro phone to Android Auto, I'm using a USB cable to connect it but it's not happening, my Daughter's Apple phone connects wirelessly, my son's Google Pro 7 connects via the cable, but my Huawei P30 Pro is not connecting, if anybody knows of any adapters or anything to connect my phone will be greatly appreciated.
