  1. I’m finding that often when I use my phone handsfree through the car, everyone sounds like they have a lisp. Does anyone else have this? It’s not a major problem of course but just a bit strange! I have no issues with anything else producing sound.
  2. Hi Jon. I see you have asked most of the questions I had when I got my CT200 at the end of July. I absolutely love mine (registered Sept 2019) and quickly figured out when to use the different driving settings just by trying it - Sports mode is excellent for going up steep winding hills! I’m bizarrely finding myself driving slower than I ever have (the husband can’t believe it) in an obsession to have it in electric mode and increase my mpg. I’ve even not minded being in slow traffic as it has upped my mpg! I get my business mileage back based on a petrol car so I’m quids in. I generally get 60mpg on a mixture of road types plus motorways. I ended up not taking any of the dealer offers based on the condition of cars I’ve had previously (fingers crossed). The guys on here are great with their experience and suggestions. I have never loved a car so much. I hope your wife likes it as well - us Lexus Ladies look good behind that wheel.😀
  3. Okay thanks and for the link.
  4. My first post on here a few weeks ago was driving mode advice before I bought my 10 month old CT. I have now driven it on motorways, country lanes, A roads, up steep windy hills in the Lakes, tried all driving modes... and I have NEVER loved a car so much. The only thing is the USB port location. I couldn’t find any posts on here about it so apologies if I there is a thread about this that I have missed. I can do a lot of long drives so for music, podcasts, audiobooks, the best thing is to plug in my iPhone as it is a better connection than using Bluetooth. I don’t like the untidiness (okay, I’m fussy) of having the flap open in order to access the USB port and the wire connection flailing around. Downloading to a small USB stick is really impractical - I like a simple life without having to remember to download things from my phone to a laptop onto a USB stick... Any thoughts or just stop whinging and enjoy the car 😄
  5. Ha ha thanks John! To be honest, I am too excited to be worried! I will have never owned such a beautiful vehicle.
  6. Sorry haven’t worked out how to show someone’s post in my reply but in short thanks all and to Thackeray for the links - love that kind of thing.
  7. My husband is obsessed with getting high mpg so I’ve renamed ‘Eco’ mode as his name; I like good mpg but also like to get a bit of a thrill sometimes so ‘Sport’ mode is my name 😁 I trialled it on the one I’m buying.
  8. Brilliant thanks both. I’m quite into technology so I’m really learning how to get the best out of the hybrid system.
  9. Hi. I am picking up my CT on Friday - 4500 miles on the clock. I am so excited after years of a Ford Focus! I have never had an automatic so need to get used to that. I have a couple of questions I’m hoping you can help with: 1. At traffic lights, do you put on the main foot brake (manual handbrake equivalent) but leave it in D to keep charging the battery? 2. I will be doing some high gradient hills with some tight corners: I presume go up in Sport mode and come back down in Normal mode with B selected? Or perhaps come down in Sport mode with B for better handling? Thanks in advance
  10. Welcome to Europe's Leading Lexus Club! Please Enjoy!
