  1. By way of a final word on this topic, I bought a cheap (ish) Autel Ap200 OBD2 reader, paired with the Autel App on my phone. This interrogated the TPMS system, showed nothing untoward other than a fault code, but all sensors were showing life. I cleared the trouble code and so far it has not returned. Fingers crossed. Thank you to all who offered words of wisdom - much appreciated.
  2. Thanks again for the advice. I'll try the other buttons in the glove box and see what happens. You're right about spending on something we've lived without for years but the red light and flashing yellow light constantly catch my attention when driving. I either learn to ignore it, or bite the bullet and address the problem by replacing the batteries/sensors. My new Autel OBD reader/coder might also help. Thanks to everyone who's chipped in. Much appreciated.
  3. Thank you John, for this. Very helpful. This is route I will take I think.
  4. Thank you to all who have replied. I am trying to get Techstream but 64bit driver issues seem really difficult to crack (not being an IT expert) and once installed and working I will do the reset and eventual battery change. I was glad to learn that they're not an MOT failure on a car of mine's age. It just annoying that Toyota would not help - especially as this car is a Toyota Aristo and also annoying, given that TPMS systems are now mandatory, that diagnostic machines at tyre specialists/garages don't seem able to address what will be a common issue. Does anyone know whether the sensors are specific to the GS450h (I've been given part number 42607-05010) but wonder if there are any other 433mhz sensors that will work with this car?
  5. Grateful for any advice. My 2007 GS has recently thrown up a Check System error. I have no Lexus dealer nearby so thought I'd go to my nearest Toyota dealer to get the system diagnosed. Unfortunately neither of the nearest dealers say they can do diag on the Lexus TPMS system and have referred me to Lexus Main dealer. My local Halfords' TPMS Machine can't interrogate the GS' TPMS module. Are there any alternative or am I left with the only option of going to my nearest Lexus dealer? Many thanks in advance.
