  1. Got my NX 300h in summer 2017, changed the 1st winter to Michelin CrossClimate and use them ever since. Great tires. Went up the Austrian mountains as you can see.
  2. I can only support this. I use these tires since 5 years on my NX now and they are great in all weather conditions.
  3. It’s really easy and enjoyable to customize the Lexus with the OBD2 adapter. After over 4 years I finally got rid of the annoying beep when opening/closing the trunk. You can even set the intensity of the beeps.
  4. Just curious, what is an iPhone 7s? To my knowledge there are iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 etc. Used quite a lot iPhone models since 2017. Never had any problems, good luck.
  5. My 15 years experience with Lexus is that you have 2 or 3 „external“ facelifts before a new model comes out. During this time you have a continuous improvement „inside“ the car. This is done year by year and depends also on the model and extras you bought. E.g. my pre facelift 2017 model can’t be upgraded with Apple or Android car. An after facelift model might or might not be upgradable depending on the infotainment/navi version installed.
  6. Interesting name for the seat material: Tahara (man-made). Here in Germany, as everywhere else I guess, they offer special „last edition“ models in preparation for the the new models arrival. Keeping the car mileage lower as expected during the pandemic, I decided to stay with my July 2017 NX. It’s certainly true that Lexus refines each model during production but I rather wait for the 2022 NX.
  7. Very good. So the only challenge will be to operate parking gates when driving alone 😉
  8. Experiment done. Looks Ok to me. So no stickers and stuff for a trip to the UK?
  9. My NX has the usual LED‘s. Would be great to just go one day again. The last time I went with a car to the UK was in 2010 with my RX 400h. That time I did nothing with the lights as it was only for 2 days.
  10. Do I understand this correctly, that any kind of „stickers“ on the lights are not needed anymore?
  11. After some checks with the Eurolites paperwork I believe I am a bit the wiser now. To use the sticker on my „simple“ LED lights should be ok. The „not for LED“ seems to refer to the matrix LED‘s on certain models.
  12. I checked a product from „Eurolites“ lately but it states „not for LED“, so have to look on I guess.
  13. Correct. However what do I need to do when driving in the UK or Ireland would be of interest to me?
  14. This might be a bit off topic, but lately I tried to find some information about the setting of headlights when driving on the other side of the road. I couldn’t find much about this in the german manual. Any experience sharing would be appreciated.
  15. Tires wearing off evenly as they should. What I didn’t do from 2017 to 2020 was to change the front to the back and the other way around. The result was 3,5mm in the front and 5,5mm at the back after 60.000 km. So I replaced the 3,5 ones and now I change the position with every scheduled check.
  16. I keep the pressure on 2,7/2,7 the whole year and that feels always comfortable enough for me. For tires I use Michelin CrossClimate SUV since my NX‘s first winter 2017/2018 which in my perspective are great.
  17. Don’t worry, we do 😊🇩🇪 Fun aside, when they delivered my NX the pressure was on 2,9/2,9 which I found quite uncomfortable. So I set the pressure to 2,7/2,7 and keep it like this ever since.
  18. The plate discussion made me curious. After checking some sources I believe this sticker will do the trick:
  19. Here in Germany the tire sizes you need for a NX are called Michelin CrossClimate SUV. Have them since the 1st winter with the NX. Very good tires
  20. Just for clarification: NATO Germany refers to cars, sold to US military personnel stationed in Germany.
  21. I checked the German manual of my pre-facelift NX. Chapter 9.2 deal with ‘customizable functions’. Maybe something can be found there, if your manual is equally numbered. Concerning the second topic: What noise do you referring too exactly?
  22. Great to hear so positively about the Michelin CrossClimate. Here in Germany we had a long discussion in the LOC about the pros and cons of all season tires. I changed to Michelin already after 3 month to be winter ready. Best tire decision ever made 🙂. What I should have done differently though is to change the wheels from front to back more often. After 3 years I have the front on 3 mm and the back on 6 mm. I will replace 2 tires soon because of this.
