The best tyres I ever had on my NX300h were the Michelin cross climate ones. Transformed the car. Better ride, quieter and hard wearing. Excellent in all weather. I would recommend these all day.
I can only support this. I use these tires since 5 years on my NX now and they are great in all weather conditions.

It’s really easy and enjoyable to customize the Lexus with the OBD2 adapter. After over 4 years I finally got rid of the annoying beep when opening/closing the trunk. You can even set the intensity of the beeps.

Just curious, what is an Iphone 7s? To my knowledge there are Iphone 7, Iphone 7 Plus and Iphone 8 etc.
Used quite a lot Iphone models since 2017. Never had any problems, good luck.

There is normally one mid-life facelift and yearly tweaks on a 6 to 7 year cycle. The only real exception to this is the CT which has had an extended life and has been given two facelifts.
The NX follows the normal pattern; becoming available in 2015, MY2018 facelift (manufactured Oct 2017 onwards) and will be replaced by the series II for MY2022.
Perfectly explained

What changes happened in March 2019?
When i was looking all the main things i was bothered about (10" screen, carplay) were implemented in March 2018, with some slightly earlier even being the facelifted version.
I didn't really see anything in March 2019 other than possibly the heated steering wheel dropping into the F-Sport trim.
My 15 years experience with Lexus is that you have 2 or 3 „external“ facelifts before a new model comes out.
During this time you have a continuous improvement „inside“ the car. This is done year by year and depends also on the model and extras you bought. E.g. my pre facelift 2017 model can’t be upgraded with apple or Android car. An after facelift model might or might not be upgradable depending on the infotainment/navi version installed.

Interesting name for the seat material: Tahara (man-made).
Here in Germany, as everywhere else I guess, they offer special „last edition“ models in preparation for the the new models arrival. Keeping the car mileage lower as expected during the pandemic, I decided to stay with my July 2017 NX. It’s certainly true that Lexus refines each model during production but I rather wait for the 2022 NX.

I hadn't heard of this either. I always used to find it irritating putting those big GB car stickers on the back of the car when travelling in Europe. Some people left them on permanently; I always took them off when I got home.
It seems from this website that what has changed is that you can't have new number plates made since the start of this year with the EU flag on, which makes sense. Existing plates aren't affected while driving in the UK.
When driving in the EU, (except possibly Spain!?) you don't need one of the big GB stickers if your number plates have a union flag above the letters GB. But you can't have any of the other UK country flags which would be legal if driving in the UK. And you also must have GB, rather than UK, ENG, SCO, CYM or one of the other options that are legal in the UK.
So a neater option (unless you want to buy new number plates) would be a small union jack sticker to cover the EU flag. Much less obtrusive and legal (I think) in both the UK and in the EU. Here's a link where you can buy them for 99p. My only slight doubt is whether it might be illegal to put any kind of sticker on your number plate. Anyone know?
Or you just do this (Photo made today 🙂

Looks like the low light on our car. Seems OK to me.
Very good. So the only challenge will be to operate parking gates when driving alone 😉

Drive and park your car so the light from your car lights up a wall and see if the light beam on low lights is flat. If that is the case you have OK lights for both left- and right-hand driving. If your light beam is higher on the left side (car is right hand drive?) the oncoming in Europe will be blinded and the lights are not legal.
Experiment done. Looks Ok to me. So no stickers and stuff for a trip to the UK?

SAME IN MY GS ACCORDING TO IT`S HANDBOOK MARTIN.
Do I understand this correctly, that any kind of „stickers“ on the lights are not needed anymore?

After some checks with the Eurolites paperwork I believe I am a bit the wiser now. To use the sticker on my „simple“ LED lights should be ok. The „not for LED“ seems to refer to the matrix LED‘s on certain models.

If driving in UK or N Ireland then obtain temporary beam deflectors from EB ay or similar, or check if there are suitable beam adjustments available within the set up of the car.
I checked a product from „Eurolites“ lately but it states „not for LED“, so have to look on I guess. -

If you are in Germany then you do not need to adjust German lights beams.
If you have a right hand drive vehicle then have regards to the contents of the Owners Handbook.
Correct. However what do I need to do when driving in the UK or Ireland would be of interest to me?

This might be a bit off topic, but lately I tried to find some information about the setting of headlights when driving on the other side of the road. I couldn’t find much about this in the german manual.
Any experience sharing would be appreciated.

That’s interesting. CrossClimates would feel softer and more squidgy on the road in warmer temperatures due to the different softer rubber compound. Having them at 2.7 bar might well remove some of this feeling and make them feel like more like a normal tyre perhaps. What kind of wear rate do you see and do you see any higher wear around the centre of the tyre compared to the outer edges?
Tires wearing off evenly as they should.
What I didn’t do from 2017 to 2020 was to change the front to the back and the other way around.
The result was 3,5mm in the front and 5,5mm at the back after 60.000 km. So I replaced the 3,5 ones and now I change the position with every scheduled check.

I think the pressure for over 160 km/hr is for those regularly doing over this speed. The higher pressures would provide increased structural integrity of the tyre at those higher speeds and as a result higher temperatures. How does your NX feel at lower speeds and in cooler temperatures at 2.7 bar? I know from adding pressure to my tyres when for example travelling on holiday with a fully loaded car that I always have to take the pressure out once the car is no longer fully loaded because the ride just feels too harsh and there is less grip from an over inflated tyre in lightly loaded conditions. That said, I’m sure I’d have higher pressures if regularly hitting those kinds of speeds.
I keep the pressure on 2,7/2,7 the whole year and that feels always comfortable enough for me.
For tires I use Michelin CrossClimate SUV since my NX‘s first winter 2017/2018 which in my perspective are great.

I’d be impressed if people were regularly driving at speeds above 160 km/hr.
Even on de-restricted autobahns I’m not sure I’d want to be doing more than this in an NX. Might take a while to get there too! 🤣
Don’t worry, we do 😊🇩🇪
Fun aside, when they delivered my NX the pressure was on 2,9/2,9 which I found quite uncomfortable. So I set the pressure to 2,7/2,7 and keep it like this ever since. -

No need to replace your plates: you can get stickers from ebay:

The plate discussion made me curious. After checking some sources I believe this sticker will do the trick:

Here in Germany the tire sizes you need for a NX are called Michelin CrossClimate SUV.
Have them since the 1st winter with the NX. Very good tires

Hello folks.
I am wondering, is it possible to set the tailgate operation in such a way that the rest of the doors don't unlock when you open it. Or alternatively, because the doors were all locked prior to opening the tailgate, as soon as you close it again, all the doors automatically lock again. Hope you can make sense of the question😜
Next, is it possible to turn off the noise you get when you accelerate, I'm not much of a fan of that I'm afraid.
Hope you're all enjoying this bit of Indian Summer we are getting, plus of course, staying safe.
I checked the German manual of my pre-facelift NX. Chapter 9.2 deal with ‘customizable functions’.
Maybe something can be found there, if your manual is equally numbered.Concerning the second topic: What noise do you referring too exactly?

Great to hear so positively about the Michelin CrossClimate.
Here in Germany we had a long discussion in the LOC about the pros and cons of all season tires. I changed to Michelin already after 3 month to be winter ready. Best tire decision ever made 🙂. What I should have done differently though is to change the wheels from front to back more often. After 3 years I have the front on 3 mm and the back on 6 mm.
I will replace 2 tires soon because of this.

Got my NX 300h in summer 2017, changed the 1st winter to Michelin CrossClimate and use them ever since. Great tires. Went up the Austrian mountains as you can see.
