Cheers for reply Richard, but that's the issue in IOS 15 navigation and guidance isn't there 🤪 There are loads in maps but nothing about volume. In my partner's Ios 14, absolutely that's where i would have gone.

Hi all and hope you are keeping well. I have Apple Carplay and use Apple maps predominantly (although the issue is the same with Google maps). The issue i have is the volume. Every journey I have perforated eardrums it is sooo loud 🙂 I have tried (and failed) with all the usual methods to turn volume to a more acceptable level, with no luck. The next issue is I am on IOS15 beta and the described way to turn volume down, as in maps and volume, normal, etc is not there in IOS 15. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated and apologies if i have missed this before.

Hi Tel, apologies if this is a dumb question but what do you mean about setting the warning to on? Where is that done and can it only be done during installation?

Well all done and very quick and efficient, actually less than a couple of hours, which makes some of the other installation lengths seem odd 🙂 Had a quick play around and it seems to work seamlessly and like trying the other navigation possibilities. One thing that might end up frustrating me is having to plug into USB every time, so has anyone got any reasonably priced solutions? Just thought...I have a wireless charging pad in my UX, wonder if that will work?

Wow, to be honest as long as they know they won't get their courtesy car back until i get mine, that's cool 🙂

Hi Nick, hope you don't mind me asking but are you getting it installed on your UX at your local Lexus as mine (Nottingham) is still saying its not available?

I am supposed to be getting my Apple Carplay fitted w/c 19th October; again i am due a call from Lexus Nottingham this Wednesday coming to book in. It will be interesting to see if it happens with the comment previously about it being pushed back til end of November + , as i spoke to them midweek and no mention of push back....

I can let you know about what i was told whilst having a service at my Lexus dealership. Please take with a pinch of salt but.....I was told £100 if done as part of my car being in for a service and £150 if not.
