  1. 2005 sc430. My passenger door was, by mistakem, left not fully closed overnight. Saw it ajar next morning. Closed it fully, and tried to lock the car with keyfob...it wouldnt lock. I locked the car on driver side with key. Minutes later I heard a feint alarm sound (not from main horns) coming from the boot. I inserted key in ign and turned on...hoping the feint alarm would stop, it did, but started again 10-15 sec later. All the dash lights were blank, the battery was flat. Ive disconected the LIVE off the battery, and connected my battery charger. 1hr later, when battery had some charge, I reconnected the live on the battery. The alarm began to sound...loudly. I turned ign on, and started the engine. The alarm cotinued to sound for another 5-10sec, then turned off thankfully. Hope this is usefull info to somebody.
  2. Thanks for the info. At the moment, I can send and receive calls, may try the `one at a time` transfer method of my most used numbers.
  3. Anyone know how to upload the telephone contacts from an iphone 6plus via bluetooth to a 2005 sc430. the phone pairs with the lexus ok, (albeit takes a long time and many attempts), and then a msg on the nav screen says `transfer phone contacts` athough nothing shows on my phone screen confirming its paired status or anything else re the bluetooth being connected. Any help appreciated
  4. mine did the same...then the engine light began to stay on as well as both VSC lights. MY OBD11 read out said it was `heater control circuit low bank2 sensor1. Took it to Lexus who got the same reading...it was the Oxygen Sensor1 on the manifold. Fitted new sensor, all ok now.
