  1. Manifold are very expensive here. That's why I wanted to get a stainless steel headers? Bit if it decreases performance. Then I guess I'll have to go for oem manifold
  2. My exhaust manifold has failed, has anyone swapped their manifold for headers? Was the sound improved? I'm thinking to do this.
  3. I dont think the lexus is more to service. I think they are a out the same price
  4. I have had 3 series and I now have an IS250. And the 3 series was really thirsty. It was terrible compared to the IS. The is is a much better car. The IS is not particularly fast. More of a nice cruiser. But a better drive.
  5. I had a loose caliper. I had it changed along with the bracket. Bought an original genuine one from Ebay. Seems ok so far
  6. I have 10mm spacers on front and 15mm spacers on rear wheels
  7. I was thinking to get my calipers painted red or just buy covers instead? Has anyone used caliper covers? If so. Which ones are best to get?
  8. I used to have diesels before. And one thing I always done was an egr blank and delete. I never got them issues once I done that. I know with some diesels. The rubber pipe from the radiator sometimes split which can cause that issue too. So replace the rubber pipe from radiator with a silicone version.
  9. Jolt is back. I think the issue is the handbrake shoe sticking on one of the rear brakes.
  10. I bought a 2010 fsport I paid 5.5k with 130k miles on it. Apart from normal services. Make sure that is done. My car drives mint. But when I bought mine. I did a few things to it to make sure it was up to scratch
  11. Found what the issue was. The handbrake cable was interfering with the prop shaft. So when I reversed. Sometimes the handbrake with activate, causing a thud sound. The cable was moved out of the way. To provide clearance to the prop shaft. It hasn't made that thud sound/ jolted since. (Fingers crossed)
  12. Got the rear diff oil changed. The oil was very clean. But the magnet on the plug was filthy. Glad I changed it.
