  1. Hi The TomTom Nav versions were sold in the NL as well and I remember that remote having 2 AAA batteries and are located on the bottom of the remote. But if the blue light lights up and flashes I assume the batteries are still ok? Maybe you just have to reconnect since you haven't used it for a while.

  3. You mentioned in another thread that the car had been sitting for a while. Since the 12V battery in a CT is relatively small and drains faster than a regular 12V battery if the car sits for a while for instance, I would include to check the battery health in your list. Best would be to buy a new one so you know it's history and age. This car can give all sorts of electrical errors, all dashllghts on etc. if the 12V battery is not in good health. Mine read 75% health at the dealer when serviced, still in good health according to them, but a week later my car failed to start... Changed with a new one and all was back to normal.
  4. Where I said F-Sport in my post, I meant Sport Pack Plus as the upgrade from the Sport. The F-Sport is indeed another trim upgrade with, as you said, different suspension. Well, at least it gave you some extra information and congrats on the purchase!
  5. Not in the UK myself, but I always like to "investigate" these kind of things just for fun. It looks like in the UK Lexus offered a Sport and a F-Sport. https://mag.lexus.co.uk/high-value-sport-model-leads-new-2017-lexus-ct-range/ The Sport had a more basic trim which could be upgraded to a F-Sport with i.e. sunroof, sensors, smart key entry etc. Maybe that's why you found CT's listed as Sport where some had those options and some don't.
  6. Yes, I do the hard braking regularly putting the car in Neutral to male sure it doesn't brake on regen but the sound is still there. I will look into those EBC Greenstuff pads, thank you for the tip!
  7. I have the same noise. It only makes that noise just before I come to a complete stop so at slow or slowing down speed. When I bought the car it didn't make that noise but it did after a month or so. I went back and had it checked out by the dealer I bought the car from and they put some grease on the front brakepads. The sound went away for a month or so and then it came back again. Had my car serviced at another (Toyota)garage and asked them what it was and they said it's "normal" or at least common for the CT but nothing was wrong or needed to be fixed. I did find some posts online and forums with a similar problem and from what i understand is that in the worst case it is the brake actuator which is starting to fail. I hope not because that's an expensive part to replace. It's been 3 years since I got this car and it still has that noise but brakes work fine.
  8. Are the DRL's switched on in the settings menu?
  9. If I'm correct those are the sensors for your alarmsystem. They can be switched off with that button in the middle.
  10. I posted a YT video on the CT200 forum a while back form someone who also had moist problems. Might be worth checking out if your car has that leakage problem also. https://www.ct200hforum.com/threads/new-member-with-2012-car-and-bizarre-and-scary-electrical-problem.150176/#post-1812933 Video:
  11. I know, besides it being illegal in NL, it's not my kind of thing. I did read on their website that they offer an only white version and the one in the video is on of the options they have.
  12. In case anyone wants more than just a plug and play LED headlight conversion, found these on YT.
  13. Hi Stuart, I already forgot that I also posted this on this forum and I'm glad it helped you! I looked at the one you bought on the amazon link but didn't see the 3 blink lane change feature in the description, but as you said it does have that feature. And for only £10 I'm still glad I bought the Smart Tap relay and use the "tap to blink" everytime. Not only for overtaking but especially on the many roundabouts ( with crossing bicycles) we have here in The Netherlands. Thank you for your reaction! Cheers!

  15. Very nice FSport! 👍 Seeing your car in the same colour with the FSport grill convinced me to replace my grill to the FSport mesh grill. Subtle difference, but looks much better IMO.
