  1. Also mytyres so CC2 as well, so there they are slowly becoming available. With the success of the RX in the USA, I'm surprised it's not a standard sort of size you could buy easily.
  2. Costco sell the cross climate 2 for the RX. I have them on the NX (cross climate 1) and will certainly get them when my RX arrives shortly. My experience with the NX shows the Michelin are far superior to the OEM fitment. As I live in rural Scotland i get a lot of cold mornings and occasional snow, and the cross climates seem like a great compromise.
  3. Had the 10 and 20k as per schedule. Mileage on pcp was 15k, so there or there about's with the PCP
  4. After 18 months and 22k miles her's my thoughts of the Lexus NX. It's quiet, extremely comfy, quality. No creaks/rattles, it feels brand new. Fuel economy using 97octane is 40mpg (a couple more that the 1.5 eco dsg of a tiguan i had previous), with a gentle right foot but mostly duel carriageway driving. 10 speaker stereo good, but could do with a bit of bass from the subwoofer (never heard it). Great lights on dipped beam with the bi-LEDs. Only really 3 things that slightly annoyed were the volume button on wheel, 50 taps to turn it up, and the auto wipers don't seem to be clever at all (far worse than any other car i've had), and a bit more boot space would have been good. Overall a fantastic car. So good in fact that when i had a 23 NX for the day i thought the new model was a disappointment. Sure it was a bit quicker and the fuel economy better, but it seemed like a nice Toyota, not a Lexus. So... I found a good deal on a 22 RX 450h Premium Sport Edition (the PCP is much CHEAPER than a new NX, due to offers as it's a run out model) that looks even more amazing. Hopefully it will be like an NX plus. Looking forward to it 🙂
  5. Maybe that's why i couldn't find it either, so had to revert to the iPhone settings 🙂
  6. I did notice my local (ish) Shell garage has V-Power, rated at 99 0ctane now. Car seems to run well on that 🙂
  7. With your phone, go to settings/maps/navigation&guidance, then try low volume 🙂
  8. Second hand values have gone UP weirdly (my wife and son's 2yr old cars and have 2k equity on them already), so now is a good time to trade it in, if you're planning a new car on pcp. The NX will be replaced at the end of the year (stock/build dependant) but will likely be over 40k for the same specs as the current car. You will get a new model, better economy and power, and a safer one too, but i'd guess PCP will be about £100-£150 dearer/month as such good discounts at the moment. Plus the dreaded luxury road tax will kick in, which will negate the fuel economy benefits. Either way, you'll get a fine car.
  9. Definitely a nod to the LFA. It's meant to be there. Looks fine enough 🙂
  10. With Apple CarPlay and wireless charging and no sign of Lexus upgrading to wireless Carplay, I went for the Cplay2air dongle and i have to say it works great. Compared with a new T-Roc and the load time/ delay in changing songs etc was identical. Impressed so far (sound quality identical too), let's hope it continues that way 🙂
  11. Mine 300h is brand new and UK spec and no noise, just odd singing from the battery as it moves on EV alone, but that's certainly to do with the electrics, rather than to warn pedestrians etc that you're there.
  12. Not had the hot weather yet as a) only had a car a couple of months and it's only spring and b) i live in northern Scotland so we don't get hot weather lol
