Hi, the cruise on my 460 ('57 plate) takes you all the way down to standstill without any intervention required. Thought they all did this unless yours is an early model that for whatever reason doesn't have it or as you say there is an option to switch it off hidden away somewhere. Out of interest how do you get in to these hidden service menus that you mention?

I opted out of a company car scheme in 2004 and got a GS430SE with SatNav. Both Tesco and Privilege came out with the best quotes for me. Full NCD with legal/courtesy car etc. Went with Privilege because they said if I ever did claim it would go to a Lexus repair centre. £520 was the quote (based on 16K miles a year, age 36) but I cannot get protected discount until I've had the policy for 1 year.

Can anyone recommend a decent tyre for my GS430SE. They are 235/45ZR17. The current ones are the Bridgestone RE030 which I think are a bit noisy on most road surfaces.
