  1. Happy Birthday alteza222!

  2. wow :o thanks for that info. you really amazed everybody. Youre like a walking encyclopedia of Toyota :D
  3. 1G-FE was the same engine as the Toyota Crown in japan except that they have a supercharger on it. Would it be possible if a used engine of the old Crown's supercharger can put it in my IS200? Because its much much cheaper to buy a used engine in japan, besides the supercharger is Toyota so I guess it wont hurt my engine?
  4. if you car has a knocking sound in the right portion of the dash, try to put a foam inside the post because the plug connectors touches the sheet metal that's why it produces the "knocking sound" when you hit the road. Hope this would help because took me months to figure out that stupid rattle sound. :winky:
  5. I havd that noise also, I dont know what to do anymore :yack: I did everything already but the last thing i didnt do was to check my shock mounts, is it possible that this cause the noise problem?
  6. I just want to ask if they did change the clips on the calipers will the noise be gone? becasue i think this is really the cause of the suspension noise, they loosen up when you hit the road.
  7. I change both stabilizer links, lower bushings, shocks and everything is still in good condition but when you hit on rough roads there's a clunky noise. the specialist said its the calipers that makes the noise becasue its a bit loose! any remedies for this?
  8. i tried dismantling it by some electrician i knew but its really really hard to open, so many little screws! so its better to change your head unit, theres a frame kit that can fit any radios selling in e-bay, its called stereo fit kit Is300. Bought one and it really fits good! even the backbone frame is included, theres a console too. :D
  9. Mine is inside the door post between the dash and the door ( right side ) try opening the door with a little heavy force youll hear the noise *tick* :shutit:
  10. i have that one too! is it between the door trim and the dahboard? well i think its in the post between the dash and the door trim, the metal weld got cracked inside it, because my experience i change the upper door hinge and the door catcher, but it still noisy. i really hate the noise so i just keep my volume up so i wont hear it.
  11. just want to ask where can you find the fuse for windows, sunroofs and power seats? thanks a lot
