Do you guys know when the next generation GS is due out - I'm sure the current one will be 5 years old in January 03 (?) so it must be due a refresh soon.

My wish list would be: - 18" wheels as standard - Xenon's - Removal of all parts with Toyota on it (Devalues the car) - Twin Exhaust - Choice of 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 Inline 6's - Turbo Diesel option to rival Audi's 180BHP A4 - A True sport's version similar to Honda's Type-R ethos - Standard Sat nav and Trafficmaster - Built in rear reversing camera (like Nissan's new Primera) - Full leather memory seats - Lights under the wing mirrors (like Volvo) - and simple things like ALL switchgear illuminated at night (this still annoys me after 2 years). Other than that not too many other changes.

Sorry gordon have to correct you mate..the bulbs the iS take are HB3 & HB4! Very confusing I know!!! djanderso, a quick way of finding which bulbs you want to change is to open the bonnet & look directly on top of the headlight cluster...you will see HB3 & HB4 printed on top! Cheers, I'll take a look next time I'm filling her up with water!

The very first time I saw an IS200 in "the flesh" it was an Aztec Fire one and I knew then I wanted one that colour! It looks red when it needs cleaned:bounce:

Thanks guys, just another question what type of bulbs do I need (2000 IS200 SE) I would probably only change the dipped beam as I feel the main beam is powerful enough.

Hi everyone, I have been thinking about replacing my stock front bulbs for brighter ones, but I don't want them to look like obviously fake Xenon's that you see on boy racers Nova's, Astra's, etc. These just look stupid and would make the IS200 look tacky. I have read some other posts about superwhites and Plasma this and that, but what do you guys use and can you recommed some that look good?

Chris, it was Lexus Glasgow that quoted £90 + vat each - I thought I found one on eBay a few weeks ago for £10, but it was the wrong side (I think it was from an insurance total loss) - I need the O/S/R one as some muppet reversed into it. -
Mine will be 2 years old in September and I'm looking to change it to either an IS300 or if my company will allow it, a Honda S2000.

Does anyone know where I can buy a new rear light cluster that's cheaper than the lexus centre (£90 + VAT)?? It's for a 2000 IS200 SE
