  1. I have the same problem on my IPad which started about a week ago. I’ve removed and reinstalled but same issue. Works ok on Android phone
  2. I’ve not done many journeys exceeding battery range in the cold but have noticed a few times that when battery is exhausted the fans blow cold air into the cabin. I am assuming this is because the engine is cold. I’ve not driven far after but assume once engine heats up then warm air is circulated again. has anyone else noticed this ? I would have expected the heating to stop blowing until the engine was warmer
  3. When I picked up mine it took a day or so for everything to sort itself out
  4. I believe the RAV 4 has a larger boot than the NX and would be cheaper but they are prone to the canbus theft. Personally I have always preferred ride quality over wheel size and you can’t see the wheels from inside the car. Replacement tires likely to be cheaper as well. if you do decide to go for the NX at least pick one up from bottom of the range if you can afford to although personally I have always since a young child picked the most expensive version of anything Inhave purchase. For those old enough in the UK that was immediately looking at the bottom right of any catalogue where the most expensive items always were
  5. Thanks to everyone for their help and comments. I returned to the dealers today, went out with a very patient and diligent technician who I have met before. He heard a the same rattle from the left side and a click from the dashboard so good to know I was not overreacting or mishearing. @ArneT you are correct as he confirmed most interior panels are clipped and can sometimes unclip or move. The left side was caused by a lose dash cam cable and he believes the dashboard was the trim right at the middle front where the alarm light is so he clipped this back into place Ride back was much better but real test will be back in the cold again tomorrow. I also looked at the new RX while I was there, the trim throughout seems to be very similar to the NX in that I could not see much if any additional soft touch trim So far a total of 5 different noises have appeared but hopefully all now fixed (fingers crossed)
  6. Thanks all, it’s going in again on Thursday. The dashboard squeak/creak seems to be worse over rougher roads and as the car is heating up. I definitely agree that once you hear it the mind gets attuned to it and you subconsciously listen for it again. will be interesting to see what the dealer says. The loan car I had did not have this particular noise. It had a couple of rattles but these seemed to come from distinct places. it does feel like this car simply was not screwed together with the correct torque settings ! I also agree some of the interior seems cheap, my wife’s previous 2 Yarris has been completely rattle and squeak/creak free.
  7. I have had the seatbelt rattle when left at an angle but still sometimes have a rattle there when sitting correctly
  8. My new NX has suffered a number of rattles since new. most of these have now been resolved however there are still about 2 that are not there on every drive and have not been there on visit to the dealer and I have been unable to pinpoint where they are coming from. I am also getting a lot of creaking which seems to be coming from the passenger side and one from the dashboard, the dashboard one is not loud but I can hear it. Car has been back 4 or 5 times since new in October for these and other issues and whilst improved far from ideal Very disappointed this is the worse car I have ever owned for creaks and rattles, even when previous cars have been a number of years old. This car is far from refined. Any ideas or similar issues ?
  9. I had a loan car for a couple of weeks and added it to the app. When I gave the car back I deleted my profile from the car and deleted the car from the app. The dealer had a couple of heating schedules which I paused while I had it but now they have the car back I am getting notifications on phone (Android) and IPad saying climate has started. It doesn’t appear within the app, only as an alert. i have emailed the app support on this but sounds like a backend issue. anyone else had this ?
  10. I wonder if it is starting to warm the battery. I preheated mine this morning and the engine didn’t come on. Dash wash showing -1
  11. This is what solved mine from Lexus customer services Remove vehicle from the Lexus Link+ App account, via the app’s “My Garage” page. Sign out of the mobile app. On the App’s log in page – Choose option to reset your password. Note: Your must enter your Email/Telephone number, before you get the ‘reset password’ option. Note: Please change your password to something different from the previous password. Turn on the car, and log into your Lexus Link account via the Multimedia system by using QR code when prompted. Scan the QR code shown on the MM system into the LexusLink+ App (My Garage, Add Vehicle, Use QR code). Once you are logged in to the Multimedia System in the car, please access and enable “Link profile to Key” – an option found under: Settings (from the Multimedia home screen) User account (Click into your name on the top left) Personal Info Enable ‘Link key’ (as per screenshot below) This should be a successful prevention of the profile log-out issue. “Link Key” means the MM systems seeks your profile details from recognition of the Key, rather than your mobile phone. The key is a more stable solution for profile recognition.
  12. Hi Has anyone experienced this on their NX, starting to see some stretching on the drivers seat after 900 miles. I am not a light person by any means but dont recall this on any previous cars Thanks
  13. My old volvo app was pretty much flawless from day 1 in 2017. Admittedly is had 2 years of dev time by then but this was 6 years ago on a platform nearly 8 years old now. used to get an alert saying doors were unlocked when they actually were and outside temperature so you could decide if it needed heating up in the morning. As so many people are experiencing the same bugs it is surprising that this doesn’t seem to have been tested further before releasing. It seems like Lexus are developing this on a live environment and this is still very much a beta app.
  14. I thought I had acc on but will try again to be sure, thanks
