The 2 year old 12Volt battery was flat when I went to my 2010 reg. GS450H this morning, the RAC man thinks there is a “leakage” which is draining the battery when car not in use, as a novice in these matters I was hoping someone on the Forum might be of help. Thanks in advance Mike

Thanks for replying, I have tried and failed it appears that my GS450H first registered January 2010 doesn’t have this facility, there is a button which when pressed folds them in and obviously out,

I have tried this on my GS450h and nothing happens , no flashing lights nothing, my car was first registered January 2010 and is UK specification perhaps it’s not a feature on mine. I hope not

Hi is it possible to set it up so that the wing mirrors automatically fold in when switching off the ignition rather then having to go it manually? Regards Mike

I previously posted re my leather seats which were in need of repair and restoration, after a few false starts i found Hide Detailing in Dunstable they did an abolutely fantastic job, i was astounded by the transformation if you have leather seats in need of repair/updating i can recommend them, the journey to Dunstable from my home in Surrey was well worth it Regards Mike

Actually The unit ejects disks randomly and when listening to the radio it also switches itself off....bizarre

A single one appears to work ok, however I have always fully loaded the six, I agree about James Last

Yes, I always fully load with six CD’s and the unit randomly ejects them

Hi i have a GS450H SE first registered January 2010, lately the CD player has started randomly ejecting the disks which is annoying and as it happens when I’m driving it is a potentially dangerous distraction, any suggestions as to what needs to be done? Regards Mike

Hi, I bought the 2010 model last September and at that time the passenger seat looked as if it been repaired, today, foolishly i decided to clean the seat and , the repair started to "unravel" does anyone know of a company that repairs leather car seats? I'm based in North Surrey but willing to travel for the "right company" Hope you can help, I'm p......d off with myself Regards Mike

the cream interior is a bugger to keep clean, it looks good but you would be advised to wear a hazmet suit before entering

Hi, I have i have had my GH 450h SE for nearly 5 months and am delighted with it, the only thing i am disappointed with is the Navigation, does anyone know if its possible to input just the postcode into the system? when i have tried to use it, i have to input not only the street name but also the door number, which has sometime been impossible due to non-standard addresses if it were possibel to only use the postcode i could find a use for it, if not its useless which is a shame. Hope you can help Mike

Hi, It's been three weeks since i picked up my new (to me) GS 450h SE, and i have given up on the Lexus maps guidance and use Google Maps instead, when using Google Maps (GM) on a journey i can't get the voice direction to work maps are fine but no voice, i'm not sure what the problem is but i believe there might be a conflict between the two systems caused by Bluetooth which i use to connect my iphone, any suggestions?, is it worthwhile or possible to upgrade the existing Lexus map guidance system, my car was first registered in January 2010 BTW, i love driving it Regards Mike

I hoped it was the battery but, having had two put in in as many weeks and both failed, the last one was put in by Lexus, i came to the conclusion it was the fob, the car is now booked in on the 28th for investigation, btw, i notice we both have the same model Lexus, what new petrol will you be using? Hi, I am slowly getting to grips with it, but i have been distracted by having to sell my old 300SE which i have been driving for 34 years, the leap in technology is mesmerising but, having now agreed a deal on the Merc my focus will be 100% on the GS, which i love , last week i had a few niggles with one of the entry fobs, it stopped working and i took it to the local key cutters who replaced the battery, yesterday it stopped working again so, i took it to Lexus in Croydon who put another battery in, the fag with this is i have to carry both fobs ...just in case, hopefully the new battery from Lexus will be OK, they said they automatically replace batteries every annual service which is worth considering.
