  1. Vehicle : GS 300h Generation 4 (2015) Dear all, I want to lay the In-Car power cable for DashCam affixed on the windscreen, for which I have to remove the A-Pillar trim. Any special instructions as there is a curtain airbag behind? Should I disconnect AUX battery? Would it be any different as it is a Hybrid? Thank you in advance
  2. Dear all, my car central auto-locking when in drive or start rolling, has never worked. I have checked Menu options in vehicle setup, but there are feature to unlock, but nothing to lock, am I missing something? or is there a different way to program central Auto-locking. My intension is to either centrally automatically lock all door when it goes in Drive (gear) or when it starts rolling at 15,20 or 25 miles/hour. Thank you in advance
  3. Dear all, I purchased a pre-owned Lexus is250 2008 in year 2018 and immediately I found out it was consuming oil. I observed that it was needing 1 litre every 900miles, it doesn't lose engine coolant at all, it doesn't give black/gray smoke (almost none). I replaced rocker cover gasket with manifold gaskets but it didn't help much. Then when I was replacing passenger side headlight, I had to remove air-intake filter compartment and found lots of oil deposits underneath. I assume it is head gasket but I am NOT a mechanic, hence need expert's advise and assistance. Does anyone know a good mechanic (Lexus expert) around London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey in the UK?
  4. Greetings all, I have a Lexus IS 250 2008. When I purchased this preowned vehicle, it was consuming engine oil, every 7k miles I was adding 3-4 litres of 5W30 fully synthetic. I noticed that there was oil leak from rocket cover so I was suggested to replace all rocker cover gaskets and manifold seals. This was confirmed by another mechanic in Slough, Berkshire. Before replacing these gaskets, my radiator overflow bottle had never lost its level and never had oily greasy particles. I ordered all parts from Lexus Swindon. After the 2nd mechanic has replaced rocker cover gaskets and manifold seals, it is losing radiator coolent and it is all greasy. Do you think it is related? So far the coil packs/spark plugs are clean, dipstick is not showing any signs of water/coolent mixing with oil. Any serious help/suggestion/advise would be really appreciated BTW the dodgy mechanic was Mr Riaz Malik at Belfast Avenue, slough, SL1 3HL
