  1. Hi Fforfun, I would be interested to hear about the issues as well as I did consider this car. Would you mind as well sending me pm with the details? Thanks!
  2. Interesting that they don't touch Gearbox, I was hoping to get the gear box oil replaced as I bought the car not that long ago. Thanks anyways for the suggestion!
  3. Yeah exactly how I feel! I wouldn't mind traveling a bit up north near Manchester if there are any good garages other members recommend
  4. No garage recommendation at all around this area 😥? I guess I would have to then take it to Lexus Stoke, any experiences? Thanks
  5. Hi, I would like to ask for recommendations regarding a good and trustworthy independent garage for my Lexus IS250 07. Any advice welcome! I’ve tried searching on the forum but couldn’t find anything around this area. Thank you
  6. That's why I was confused as I couldn't find anything for IS250 but loads for LS, I will take a look there and see if I can solve it! Thank you
  7. Hi, I've just test drove a IS250 SE-L that has an automatic Steering column. I could go up and down but unable to bringing closer or further despite making a click noise. Have tried to Google everywhere but unable to find an answer. I'm assuming this car's steering wheel can be move front and backwards not just up and down correct? If that's the case, do you know if this could be an easy fix? Thank you
  8. I actually thought about this scenario as well. What if the previous owner did the oil change himself, obviously not stamping the log book. I will let you know how it goes! Thank you
  9. Hi Sundance, Thanks for sharing your experience and also makes me more comfortable about it as the car is in very good condition overall. Indeed I can use it in my advantage to push harder on price reduction 😄
  10. Hi Sebarry, That was exactly my thought rationale, he/she knew is not hitting 10k why bother every year for 1.5k miles. Very helpful advice and feel more relax now. Thanks a lot!
  11. Hi, Just wanted to ask for your opinions/advice as I'm looking to buy an IS250 and I came across one with not too many miles (50k) but was no serviced during 7 years. On the positive side, all MOT were passed with no advisories and with an average milage of 1.5k miles each of those years. I'm a bit concerned despite Lexus reliability, but 7 years is too much right? After those 7 years (car was 12 years old) it was then serviced regularly every year until today (last 3 years) Would like your thoughts please! Thank you
