The drains maybe blocked either by debris or kink in pipe I researched when looking to buy my one there were a lot of how to videos depending on how good you are at tackling things your self I recall having to strop footwell corner then removing a unit behind it but my lexus dealer Edgeware road were able to locate that there was a problem with one side of the drain but wanted £1200 plus to rectify it as they said headlining had to be removed so decided to leave it for now and tackle after winter as no garage but currently car is under cover when not in use

It is exactly that the parking sensor switch it is either placed by dealer near the mirror switch or near headlamp washer in middle if purchased as am option or if aftermarket anywhere like yours

Hi I have just bought a week this Saturday a lexus rx400h 2008 they are great for long distance although I have only done 400 miles in it, 200 was bringing it home I averaged 29.5 but that was also down to me pushing the car 120 comfortably and in town it is a dream I am getting 32mpg plus I also do have it booked for a service this has replaced my 2010 jaguar xf premium luxury sports 3.0 diesel twin turbo on the journey up the Jag got 48mpg and the way home my brother drove it and also chased and overtook me and came home with 44mpg but it is a diesel saying that the Rx is a pleasant comfy drive well worth the little extra mpg it makes on motorway, the Jag locally town driving gets anywhere between 19.4 mpg and 22.7 mpg and does not like standstill hope this helps

I am well versed in cruise control my lexus rx400h does not have the self control breaking which is v.common on Volvo's BMW mercedes and my jaguar xf but the newer 450h apparently has this spec mine is a 2008 Rx btw

From my experience of this style of headlight it could be the unit itself but as mentioned go and check the car and also ask the owner face to face to see what they say

I was looking Into this and researched the same one of you type itnto Google or lexus you will see a couple of video reviews here in the UK and USA like all units the only thing I could fault was that it was a little slow but it had the inclinometer etc and if wired up correctly which it seems to be able to, it will also allow the steering wheel to work I will probably end up buying it but a couple of months down the line and after the car goes into lexus for a major service hopefully no surprises

Thanks Steve, yes I have had a look and decided to live with it for now but will be trying to tackle it soon meanwhile she is booked in for a major service 100k at lexus Edgeware road next week and taking our first family trip in it this weekend

I had to comment they are not only good for wind deflection but also for rain, as someone who gets the stuffy noise with a/c these are great just got my rx400h and will be ordering a set and have had them on many other cars previously also let's not forget when you have a bad breath passenger sometimes it is not easy to say this so you just have the window open slightly, would love to see some pics

Hello fellow members from North London here, just bought my first Lexus literally 8 hours ago I have wanted one for a long time but never driven one in an ideal world and budget I would have gone for a new or newish rx450h-l with the captain Seats (yes I am that guy who creates his ideal one on the lexus website then 😫 at the price) but I bought a 2008 RX400H SE-L with a lot of extras factory fitted front and rear parking sensors proper rear screens and I am the 2nd owner on this fully dealer serviced vehicle with 90k miles driven 200miles and let's just say I am staring at it from the window as I type, I am looking forward to trying and utilising the knowledge hear and hopefully can add some value myself here, there are a few nigly hits for instance the centre console opens but does not close??? And moving it back and forward it does not seem to lock in place (I guess expected for the age) but am going to have a look at what possible fixes there are.
