  1. Well, I managed to get the bolts out and subsequently also managed to lose one of the metal tubes which slipped and fell down the back of the side panel. I hope to God that it doesn't rattle wherever it's ended up as don't fancy the cost of taking the car in for the garage to have to find it! On a plus note, I've got the blanking plates on now so it looks nice. Although part of me wishes I'd left well alone 🤣
  2. Beamish... Absolutely perfect, thanks so much for that link I couldn't find anything about this on t'interweb anywhere!
  3. Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but I can't see if it has. Does anyone know what the current sat nav update is? I have 2018 and don't want to contact Lexus just yet is I am liable to be drawn into updating it and don't want to if not necessary. If anyone does have a 2022 version, can I ask how much it cost?
  4. Perhaps slightly off topic here, but I have a 250C where the previous owner had a wind deflector but wasn't supplied when I bought the car. The 2 holes are in the back, and I do have the plugs to cover them up but can't work out how to change them over. Does anyone have any idea how to swap them before I break something?
  5. Hi John Loving it so far, although the weather's not been too conducive to even sitting in it on the drive!!! I gave it a good clean and polish inside and out and there's no way you would think it was over 10 years' old. Mine does tend to rattle a bit too, and a search on the internet seems to bring up a whole multitude of reasons for this .... and solutions, but I think that I will simply need to take it out on a very long drive to see where it's coming from before attempting any resolution.
  6. Hi John Did you get this from Stockport? Think I took a look at it too. I ended up with a different IS250C, but it's also a 2009 and reset my TPMS recently. I did this by turning the engine on, toggling to the 'tire pressure initial' screen using the satellite button and then holding it for 3 seconds. I don't get the 'system check' message as on the video above, but the tyre pressure warning light flashes 3 or 4 times to show that it has been registered. Hope this helps. Tim
