  2. Ahh then ok maybe you won't get a t-shirt Main benefits & participating dealer list is here although you won't be able to see all the offers etc until you are gold & log into the 'Gold' forum
  3. Well apparently you also get a T-Shirt now Though in all seriousness you should be entitled to discounts (servicing etc) though I'm not sure where the list of Dealers who honor it are, you should also get discount on insurance (I know Adrian Flux and quite a few others do honor this) as well as various offers & of course the usual selling privileges I'll see if I can find out a definitive list and get it put up to show the full benefits :)
  4. Good point Chris - I'll point Steve to your post as I'm guessing he hasn't got your latest vital statistics
  5. Great news that they have taken it on & you're getting somewhere with it Matt Totally daft that the company is risking it's reputation
  6. We always park in the most deserted spot in a car park, even if it does mean walking from the furthest end to the shop and if there isn't a 'clear' spot we will pick a nice top end car to go next to :) We even park as far away from our neighbours 'people wagon' as possible - despite having separate drives
  7. Personally I'd talk to trading standards regarding the problems - though I think you now need to go through the CAB (although they are very helpful) by the sounds of it despite wiping their hands they have obligations if they didn't point out the existing problems that were there when you bought the car
  8. I'd say claying is your best option as you don't as such get the abrasive factor as you would with most other products p.s. edited the title for you :winky:
  9. I have no idea but would like to say "Hello & Welcome to LOC" :D
  10. LOC is pretty good for selling cars Matthew, lots of guests come on to look at what's for sale and there are obviously members looking to buy or change, there's also places like pistonheads which is pretty good too, so if you decide to 'go gold' you can put up all the info you want and hopefully get a buyer :)
  11. Hi & welcome Craig :D That is one good looking car you have there :)
  12. Hi, congratulations & welcome Ray. There's quite a few topics on the ERR3 problem one here for starters as for the other bit's I'm sure some of the boys will be along soon to say hello & help out :D
  13. We will miss you very, very much Ian, you have been a highly valued member & moderator for a long time now I would like to say a big thank you for your tireless organisation & hard work, it's been very much appreciated and there will always be a place for you here :D
  14. Hi Alan, You can hopefully find your parts cheaper here if you send an email for the attention of Tim, I'll tell him to look out for it and hopefully he can sort you a decent deal on the parts you need :D
  15. Hi Stu, If you & your Dad fancy a bit of friendly competition check out the Toyota Sprint Series, there's classes for Lexus/Toyota & a Class X for other marques. They are basically run by Javelin Track Days & range from Airfield tracks to ones at Blyton & Croft. As a rule you get 2 sighting laps then 2 un-timed runs at the start of the day followed 8 timed runs plus if there is time 'play-time' at the end of the day, there's a good mix of people from top tuners to joe bloggs & everyone is friendly & willing to help out/give advice. Link here for the main site & here for the facebook page Forgot to add - it's just one car on the track at a time so no possibility of any numpties :winky:
  16. Ok boys, can we please get back on track with the thread & play nicely
  17. Or upgrade to gold - go here & get some good deals :D
  18. As far as I can see it hasn't got adaptive headlights unless it's a new feature for this year so yes it looks like you'll have to use stick-ons
  19. I doubt very much he would have given any explanations Though freely admitted to me in a pm that he wasn't the most should we say 'honest' trader & at the same trying to sell me a car As Ian says we will keep an eye out but if anyone does spot anyone suspicious please yell :D
  20. Due to a number of reasons, as from 8.45am this morning Lexuschap will no longer be frequenting our forums
  21. Not that it's particularly relevant but when Si sold it in September 04 it had 29K on the clock. I'm not sure how many miles Daz added before he sold it on. Looking at the photo's it seems to still have the orginal sound system (£5k+) in the boot which at the time it was installed (2002) it really made it one of a kind (I remember crowds of LOC'ers droolling over it) One thing that is wrong on the advert though is that the JE forged pistons, rods etc were never fitted & sold separately, afaik. To be honest the best way to look on it is that as parts its worth possibly equals the asking price

    Loc Stickers

Yes as Mike says, stickers come free with Membership (as do discounts, selling entitlements and more) Details for sign up are here
  23. Hopefully some of our eagleyed members will spot it for you Chris :D
  24. How bad was it?? Pretty bad, If I remember correctly a grass bank & lampost were involved - never went through insurance though (would have probably been written off it it had of) so won't show up on checks, hence I think that's how Daz bought it as he wasn't aware of the history at the time.
  25. That was originally Simonskippy's car then Daz owned it - get a full check done on it before you even think about parting with any money as from what I remember it was rather bent up at one point ;)
