Front grill

I did a search and found a few posts on here about the subject. A few members have gone for satin black which looks neat. -
Front grill needs a tidy up. Looking for tips and inspiration. Do I keep the same colour or has anyone tried a different colour that looks good? Thank you in advance. Steve

Seriously though, who does she think she is? Snacks in the fridge, muddy foot marks on the back of the passenger seat and doesn't even bother to retune Radio 2 when finished! 😉😅

Whilst searching a well know online auction site for nothing in particular for parts for my LS430 I notice a few listings for Infrared headsets that can be used by rear passengers. Is this a standard feature, add on or some kind of urban myth does anyone know please ?

Yes, everything else still works. Once you press any button the display and functions operate as usual. Update: I went into the diagnostic menu under the options button (headlights on off 5 times) and cleared some faults that were logged in there. Not sure what the faults were as they are all Hex codes. Anyway this has stopped the message from appearing. The car was right all along! 'CHECK THE SYSTEM' I checked the system, cleared the logged faults, all is good. As to what the faults were, I will worry about them another day.

Occasionally when I start my LS430 I get a message on the display saying 'Check System' everything else appears to be working properly. The message disappears if I press any of the display buttons. Thanks Steve

Thank Malc, I will take some more pics when the weather improves. I replaced the radiator on the IS 200. Fairly straight forward to access and replace. Looks like the LS430 will be straight forward too.

As you can see from the pic has a small dent in the door that needs sorting. It has some service history from Lexus in South end on Sea. It had the VSC light on with a code 51 which looked like a O2 sensor fault. I had the cam belt, tensioner and water pump replaced last week as couldn't be sure it had been done. The garage found the belt had been put on the wrong way round, the tensioner loose because of a strip thread on one of the bolts and the left bank had skipped a tooth. They fixed the stripped thread and put everything back together with the new parts. This also fixed the fault light.

Hi, I have recently bought my LS430. It was first registed in June 2006 and has just over 102k miles. Just wanted to say hello to all the members. I've been trawling through all the threads learning about the car and enjoying the banter. I look forward to adding to the group and any possible meets that take place. Steve
