  2. Cool stuff. I agree with Anees on this. Very interested.
  3. Stupid question!! I assume the Son-Daspol-Kit comes with the PC? I know !!! I just wanted it confirmed before I say yes to it. Could somebody confirm my stupid question?
  4. I've been in bed all day ill. This has cheered me up no end and put a smile on my face.
  5. Hi all, Will try and make it on the 18th. Starting a new job next week so all depends on how that goes over the next few weeks. Would it be ok to bring my boy along (10 year old)? Ash
  6. :D Paypal all done. time to do this now as keeping out of the wifes way????
  7. Cool, joined, ordered, will sort paypal out and pm you. Cheers Steve.
  8. Yeah, I'll do that. When are you expecting the lids to be posted?
  9. Hi, I'm interested in the eyelids. Going on holiday on Monday for 7 days, so what can I do with regards to the "Payment Must be Made directly after GB has closed"? Cheers
  10. Good to see that you’re ok. The car can be fixed. I ride bikes and get told by the garage to scrub new tyres in for 100 to 200 miles before letting it go. :P With the recent weather conditions (heat) and few spells of showers, the road gets greasy so easily that you can't tell what it's like until it's too late. :shutit: Anyway, hope you get back behind the wheel of your pride and joy.
  11. I'd agree with the others. To sell and take the tax hit via the profits you make. The only issue I would see is that if you do put it on the market you may not want him in the house when buyers come round. As he could give a negative view on it and prevent the buyers from moving with it. You own the house as all the deeds are in your name. There may be an issue if no formal contracts are in place with regards to his tenancy. Best talking to a solicitor about that.
  12. Was looking at 4 car before looking at Lexus. Reasons why Lexus. Money for value - had more to offer then the other 4 cars. Good driving position Depreciation of the car Looks - exterior and interior Having access of knowledge via LOC Didn't want to fit into the same pigeon hole as my colleagues - in Sales. Just wished it had more power.
  13. Hi As long as the car has a full service history then the mileage should not be a problem. However, I would get the car checked by an independent organisation like the AA (if they still do it). It the other elements that you need to bear in mind like the ball joints, steering and so on. If it got a FSH to it then all work carried out should be documented. (I keep all the receipts and work sheets for work done on my car.) I went for the sports version. It has a few extras but as time goes on this may have changed compared to a X or Y plate car. You should be able to pick up a sheet from one of the forums outlined the differences between the SE and the Sports. The engines are rock solid and they are a great car with potential. Watch out for the alloys!!! Good luck in finding the right car.
  14. Had the same problem. Got told it's the way the car is set up from the manufactures. Argued - "is the car expected the wear the front tyres (inner wall) faster then the rest of the tyre"?? Got info back saying that this should not be normal - Otherwise I would get the dealer to replace the tyres cos of un-even wear. Getting it laser aligned is the best option. 6 8 months intervals. I've just picked up new tyres from Blackcircle and quoted that I was a Gold Lexus member - they give discounts..
  15. There is a problem with the settings, Lexus view is that due to road conditions that they can not cover it under warrenty. I had the same problem on my car that was 6 months old and done 14K. I took mine back to Lexus and got the camber and rest of the settings re-set and things seem to be fine currently. Just got a set of 4 new tyres that are due to go onto new alloys (warrenty change) so will be getting the whole thing checked again.
  16. Just wanted to let you all know. I got my renewal yesterday morning from Lexus Insurance, quoting £583. Comp with PNB. I called 4 other companies Privilege quoted £602 Elephant.co.uk quoted £787 A Quote quoted £624 Last one was an internet based company but I called them up InsuranceWide.com After going over the details and what I get with the policy they quoted me £494 Savings are going toward 4 new tyres
  17. Not sure if anybody has seen this before. Been to this site and seen the new "production" version of the IS300. Looks good - what do you think? Auto Spies if its not linking then try autospies.com and search for Lexus. Cheers
  18. What a total surprise this morning. Looks great, thought I had the wrong site first. Had to double check the URL. Top job. :winky:
  19. Mixture of motorways and A road. Usually takes 59 lits to fill up. The max I have ever had out of my car is 400 miles. Noticed that the spec mentions the tank capacity is 70 ltrs. So if left to run down to the fumes then possibly get 460 miles. If your doing 500+ miles on one tank then your doing better then I could ever. (must be down to wanting to have the power feeling) With regards to Optimax, I read a recent report that outlined that Optimax did not contribute to some of the benefits it's suppose to. (But that will be down to the drivers opinion) along with some of the supermarket fuels are not as effective as some of the well known petroleum companies. Not sure who commissioned the test. Makes you wonder????
  20. I'm interested - will have some for my IS200 please. 18" standard black 20" Super Sporza black Thanks
  21. I'm guilty! I'm interested in meeting with other and having a social life. I could go on about problem with having a new born at home and the wife who has other plans for the weekends. (no not that sort of plans) I went to a mini meet a few months back held in Ashton. Had a great time in meeting others and certainly looking to do that again. I can't say about the xmas party yet due to the works do. But any local meet I’ll try 100% to attend. It is just down to timing, work and home life.
  22. Not sure if anybody has posted this, if so then my apologies for repeating it again. I was talking to Fred at Lexus Stockport yesterday, he kindly showed me the Lexus website showing the concept cars - next generations. The LF-S and LF-C both look good. 2007 for the LF-C - think this is going to be next on my list - I think so. Understandably, what’s classed as a concept never come out when in production but fingers crossed. Have a look. Lexus.co.uk - Concepts
  23. I made the same enquire. approx £50 to supply. I would rather have a go at fitting myself then pay £100 for the service. having seen the mudflaps and looking at how others are fitted, its a matter of taking screws out placing the mudflaps in position then screwing them into place. Should be lined with the current screw holes. anyone correct me if i'm wrong! Again, this is just me, but I would have a go at it.
