  1. I already sold my GS the only way I can target the parts is through this website, here is the link to the dashboard: https://lexus-japan.epc-data.com/gs460/urs190/161607/body/8401/?frame_no=URS190-5001099
  2. For anyone who still has an interest in this vehicle, the car passed a health check with green lights at Lexus Leeds They also changed the spark plugs and put fresh coolant as part of the service.
  3. The number 1 coolant leak issue on UR engines is on the top engine valley. It's a pretty common issue and sadly not every Lexus mechanic knows about it. However, on the good side, it only takes to replace the sealant. Also, I do recommend a service plan, it's not cheap but it's worth the part discount and good service.
  4. Thanks Anthony! Yes, it's still for sale.
  5. Hi everyone. Due to the rarity of my vehicle, I wanted to give a heads-up to anyone who is searching for a premium luxury to buy. By the end of November, I will be selling my Lexus GS460 Jdm import with low miles of 57k at the moment. It is the 07 model finished in 1f2 Mercuri Metalic Color. The reason for the sale is that soon we will have a baby and while my wife is on maternity leave we decided to keep only one vehicle to secure some savings. I imported the car two years ago and since then only done just over 10k miles. The car had only one previous owner from the new and I am the second first owner in the UK. The car has no mods. After importing it I enjoyed it in stock form so I decided to keep it this way and see if I would change my mind in the future. After receiving the vehicle it was signed for a service plan at Lexus Leeds. The car already has passed 2 services and the last one will be on 7th of November so the new owner will have the car with fresh service and mot. The car has new genuine brake disks and pads replaced by Lexus this year with all 4 new Yokohama tyres. It also has all past service documentation from the new. The car has a rare interior trim spec, that I preferred more over Passion Black. It’s black with bird’s-eye maple trim and dark brown leather seats. The glove box has a toll card reader instead of a CD drive for maps. The infotainment OS is completely different to the EU or US market. It has extras like a TV and instead of the cassette player, it has a MiniDisc that still has a disc with classic music from the previous owner. The radio and TV are in the Japanese frequency range so the only radio you will be able to listen to is Radio 2. It has AUX and a second power socket in the armrest compartment where I use an AUX Bluetooth adapter that connects to my phone automatically so I can listen to any music. I will leave it for a new owner as it just works very well with the car. It also has a few more uncommon extras like an air ioniser and auto folding mirrors on car lock and unlock. Now about the running costs which are pretty cheap for a 4.6L v8. The car has only run on E5 98-99 very happily since the import and can return a very positive 29 mpg on long journeys on UK roads from my experience. The full tank will give you just over 300 miles of range. The car is ULEZ compliant, the last road tax was only £290 a year and it costs cheaper to insure than the Lexus CT200h that my wife has. This is going to be one of those rare opportunities so if you are in the market for it, I would recommend viewing it. I will be looking around 10k, also feel free to send me sensible offers if interested. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me on the forum or message me on my mob: 07598940537.
  6. Technically it shouldn't matter, as they are all programmable like for reverse and positon from the factory. I've made the video just to showcase how it works. 20230421_142543.mp4
  7. Sorry for the late reply, you probably already figured it out, but it's the same process, just hold the button.
  8. Last weekend I discovered that 3rd gen has an auto-folding mirror mode. After looking around the forum I didn't spot any decent answer to it, so I decided to find out how I've managed to activate it. The feature works only when you lock the car and unlock it, doesn't matter if it's a door button or a fob. If you didn't know & desire it as many people do, why not to try it. All looks very simple: This is image of my unit, so all you have to do is to hold mirror button which marked with red circle till 2 mirror lights marked with green line starts flashing and you done. I tested it back and forth and it all works for me, and I believe it should work for everyone. Just keep in mind I would disable it back over winter to keep your motors safe when unlocking the car.
  9. Hey Len, yes the 2012~ had this option and I believe GS models should have it by default being higher premium product it just more relevant for older models 05~12 they had just a button to manually open and close without any information about auto mod which actually exists within the system.
  10. Thanks Vladimir! Yes I agree, this post is not for every one as it is more targeted for people who have an AUX & power socket preferably in the arm rest storage compartment, as it is more plug and play option without any installation hustle. I believe not all GS 3rd gen has AUX feature as it is the separate mode in the media unit: but in my case both AUX and second power socket are next to each other in the arm rest so it works very well: However if that's not the case, people will need an internal option to wire a receiver into their media unit.
  11. I know it a bit too late but I will surprise you all! It can fold automatically as you lock the car! How did I do that? I have no idea, unfortunately. I just was browsing through different settings to find clock changer as I forgot where it was as my unit all in Japanese. But when I locked my car they just folded, I was a bit shocked and surprised and couldn't believe it.
  12. I thought I will share it with you all who are looking for AUX/USB Bluetooth receivers. Sadly GS 3rd gen does not support music streaming through Bluetooth apart from phone calls, however we do have AUX input, so I was looking into different options. It is not my fist device and so far the best one I found is this little box: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/364191963550 The reason why it's the best cheap option is that it works only as a receiver so whenever you start your car it turns automatically ON and starts playing your phone's music. No need to press any button like on some duel mode ones. As regards the sound, it sound pretty good as well. The price can be different for them as I managed to buy it cheaper than it is now, but £7 is well worth it for no hustle device. Hope it helps some one who's in the market for it.
  13. Hey, do you run them on spacers or its just straight fit? Im just trying to think how they would sit on 3rd gen gs.
