Hi I have a normally faultless 2006 RX400h but when driving this morning it suddenly lost power and stopped. It was displaying"check hybrid system" I switched it off and then on again and everything worked with no further warnings I live in rural France and nearest main dealer is 3hrs away so is there anything that I can or need to do and can I continue to use it? Thanks

Hi, new owner of a 2006 RX400h with a rear door that does not open on the button, but closes on the button as it should. When I lift it manually it seems pretty heavy, Would this suggest that the gas struts are not contributing much ? I am based in France and can source the struts locally, about €60 a pair. Is it likely to be worth it? Thanks

Hi, just become the owner of a 2006 RX 400h with 97,000 miles. Very pleased with it, looks and drives like a much younger car. It seems to have a couple of standard Lexus problems that I will be trying to sort over the next few weeks, namely non opening power tailgate and broken ignition key, otherwise all good and a pleasure to drive.Will be asking questions that have probably been asked before, so please have patience!
