  1. You should be fine, I'm 6'2" and have similar issues L1 through L5 and nerve damage. If it was still an issue you could use the 2nd seat memory setting as a get in / get out setting and use 1st setting for driving. The retracting steering wheel is a massive help for getting the knees out without having to twist the lower back too much.
  2. I swear by Michelin Primacy 4 on my LS430.
  3. I use 25 when listening from the phone using bluemusic adapter, and about 35 from CD's to be loud.
  4. which android head unit did you go for? is it all integrated with the climate controls etc?

    LS430 Towbar

Looking for a towbar for a facelift LS430.
  6. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2003-53-LEXUS-LS430-V8-AUTOMATIC-PETROL-SALOON-277-BHP-DRIVES-GREAT-/175170887792?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l6249&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0 I looked at this one a while back before finding my LS. Few minor cosmetic issues including all wheels which is to be expected at price and age but... It needs 4 new tyres (very old and badly cracked), cambelt change (last done 2011), a few parking sensors and probably radiator pack changing. VSC light is on, one engine sensor showing also. Says it has Full service history but had full lexus till 2011 then only 2 recorded independent services in the last 10 years. Recently relisted I see.
  7. It doesn't show track info, it shows up in the audio screen as a 2nd CD changer device and any music played from the phone just shows as a never-ending 1st track on an imaginary CD. Works well though and steering wheel track change controls still work with it. I think the GROM systems show the track info but are very expensive in comparison.
  8. Sounds like a dead battery, which would point to the alternator if the battery is definitely good.
  9. Hi all, Bought my first Lexus, an early 2006 LS430, a couple of weeks back, enjoying it so far. Wanted something comfy for use on long journeys and holidays within UK and Northern Europe. Already found some very useful information on the forums. Iain
  10. Today I installed a 2018 sat nav DVD as the car still had the original '06 disc in there! Unlikely that I'll use it often but nice to have as a backup, £30 for the disc and seems to work well on the short journey today. Hoping my Brodit phone mount will arrive shortly so I can see which track is playing on Bluetooth.
  11. It still connects to the handsfree Bluetooth separately, the other Bluetooth for audio shows up as a second CD changer so all works together nicely.
  12. Installed a Bluemusic Bluetooth adapter and 6+6 Y cable to my newly acquired LS430 Easy installation, quality sound and pretty cheap too, was about €40 from Germany for both. Delivered within a week too!
