  1. say hello to tony from me :D i bet he is busy making the tea I have a cup with every smoke..... I'm a 50 cups a day guy
  2. Track/sprint/hill that's going to be an interesting calibration
  3. Hi Tommy, no, Tony hasn't advised yet. I'm going to post the results that CLCM gave me in a wee while. Tony asked for them so he can have a look see. Col.. :winky: Reason being is despite the adjuster problem the end positions are fine :)
  4. Hi Are you saying that the original data for the wheel alignment is correct and no other alterations need to be made? I was under the impression that the original data was set so that the tyres would point inwards, hence the excess wear on the inner edges. Regards Sajjap The problem cars are the IS200/300/sc, the data for the SC is fine.
  5. The SC430 target data is very good so i advise they set the car to that...... The tyre change will affect certain positions but the change is very small so don't worry about that.
  6. Good stuff........ Those settings won't be any good for drifting though.
  7. Nice Drift...... plenty of power/ smoke.... any idea's how the points finished Mr Steviewevie :)
  8. Nothing i can say will make this better...... Just try and keep your chin up mate and soldier on regardless.
  9. The idea for the different holes is to ensure the drop-link connecting pin is horizontal depending on how low the car is. You cannot change the pre-load on the arb since it's floating.... or in other words you can change the pre-load but only for one direction.
  10. Have a nice one matey....... so says the entire wim team :)
  11. Have a nice one chaps... :)
  12. Don't forget the Geometry will go to pot...... The OEM adjusters can cope with about -40mm.
  13. Due to the limited number of adjusters on your car, then £60 is about right..... It takes an hour to do at the most.
  14. If you do anything Lexus2D you do make me smile..... bless yeah :)
  15. As said earlier wim will help you, pm me a contact number and i will deal with this for you...... You only become a statue if you stand still!
  16. That's more like it.... I hope that wasn't to OEM settings though
  17. Cheers peeps.... 45yrs old, oh my that's ancient isn't it, suppose i'm what the young ones call an "old geezer".... Well whatever the journey has been great and old "geezer" or not it's nice to be here with such beautiful friends, so thanks from the bottom of my heart. Some images of my weekend away can be found here> http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/forum/ind...ic=4050&hl= If your bord it's worth a look B)
  18. Yesterday we had a photo shoot for a car club magazine. The lady owner was a really bubbly girl and really into her cars. Before the Geometry calibration we fitted some forced camber adjusters and the photographers were snapping this as a "how to topic" for the forum. Anyway once the adjusters were fitted the car was handed to me for the calibration but during the inspection i found the front tie-rod bushings were worn, i explained this to her which prompted her to call the photographers.... "Hay guys, come over here and take a picture of my worn out bush"...... after the initial silence a voice from behind said "it's to early in the morning to take a picture of that smelly thing"...... The combination of events was hilarious, the laughter prompted even more laughter, there wasn't a dry eye in the house for ages.
  19. Just to clarify things. We are extremely busy this time of year but we have a devoted promise to LOC to help members all around the UK. In order to preserve our time and support the forum we can only assist LOC Gold members, seems harsh but that's life. For those grinding teeth now let me explain..... In order to ensure your Geometry calibration has a suitable destination i have to validate the place of your choice, i then need to asses the cars modifications and then write the settings, these are sent to you and i have to be available to support the calibration.... once done i validate the final settings and approve them, or not!.... if not i then contact the company and re-educate them on the error of their ways and have them invite you back. This is an extraordinary drain on my time so i'm only prepared to offer this to those prepared to add future assistance to the clubs infrastructure, i.e Gold members. For those still grinding teeth, look at it this way..... What's to stop someone joining the club, raping my time and information for free and never even offer a post in the forum, where's the value in that for the club, the members and indeed me?
  20. My you was attentive during your Geometry calibration session, that must have been the instructor in me..... You are spot on.
