  1. DON'T try to do it yourself because you could cause more damage. I see this sort of thing all the time. Its not a big problem at all. Call a Mobile Leather repair specialist from your yell pages. They should either be able to clean it of with a special solvent or redye the area. A good technician should be able to make your seat look like new again. Leather must be cleaned regularly with the proper cleaner. NOT HOUSHOLD CLEANERS! The best products are usually only available to the trade so it makes sence to call out a good valeter once in a while to clean and feed the leather to help keep it from drying out. Especialy with cars with air con. Every 3 months should keep your leather like new. Pop it into a valeter and see if they can help but do not scrub it!
  2. As long as you Hand wash your car every week and hand polish/wax every 2-3 months, you will not need these types of "Glaze". For these products to work you have to use thier product "shampoo" weekly and if any bird droppings fall on your car you must wash it off ASAP as it will eat into the paint no matter what "Glaze" you use.
  3. Silvers are not that bad of a problem, If you have taken your car to a bodyshop and are paying top money, you should expect an invisible repair, unless they have told you otherwise before carrying out the repair. But to get a good match on these light metallics you do need to have a large area sprayed. A bad blend will show in the sun or under forecourt lights, petrol stations, Is your mind playing tricks with you, are you seeing things because YOU know the where the repair was? If a few other people can also see the blend then the bodyshop will have to redo the job!
  4. SMART repairs can be carried out to a INVISIBLE finish, depending who does the repair, The repair that evalet have done is beyond poor, its very bad workmanship and shows that the "Technician" was inexperenced. I run my own business carrying out smart repairs. I would not charge for that repair and I would put you in contact with someone who CAN do a quality repair at a reasonable price. In auto repair, you usually get what you pay for, if I look at a job and am unsure I will get a Excellent result, I will tell the customer in advance. I would expect Evalet to pay toward putting that blotch on your nice car right? :yack:
