  1. Having considered the problem and implications a little further, I've revised my thinking. To prolong the life of modern phone batteries, the best approach is to incrementally charge the battery rather than rapid charging. During my 50 min drive, with an Android Auto tethered connection (Waze & Music playing) my Pixel 7 charge increases by 10% - which is pretty much ideal. Whatever happened to plans for Lexus to support wireless AA, how come wireless Apple CarPlay is supported?
  2. I rang the Lexus (UK) service department, they stated there was no physical difference between the 2023 and 2022 and that this is an acknowledged problem - apparently also an issue for Audi. I asked that this be fed back to Lexus product design. Thanks for the suggestion though @Klaudiusz
  3. Just upgraded my mobile from a nice flat Samsung S9 to a Pixel 7 with a protruding camera bar that now means wireless charging no longer works. Anyone encountered this and have a suggestion? I can't imagine wireless to antenna induction working if I stick a thin sheet of ferrous material to bridge the 1mm gap. Thanks!
  4. We have a UK spec 350H Sport and have successfully added two profiles - these are tied to our respective mobile phones (both Android) and not the keys (perhaps key based profiles are US only?). The system is slow to pick up the respective profile and will always indicate that the "guest profile" is loaded, which you then have to dismiss - by which time it usually discovers your Bluetooth phone allowing you to select it and with it the option of adjusting seat position (restoring to the last settings associated with that profile) - this all takes ~10 seconds Hopefully Lexus can iron out this issue with an OTA software update and Lexus if you are listening, please could you also associate the media device to the profile as well as we're forever having to switch between Radio 1 (wife) and USB (me). Out of interest Andrew what variant did you get as I'm wondering if the display screen size is a factor, someone mentioned that profiles on the 450H worked and I assume you can only buy that model with the 14" screen?
  5. Put in my first tank full of fuel, ignoring the £100 for a moment, where are you meant to locate the cap while fuelling, surely not dangling on its plastic lanyard which is a great recipe for scratching the paintwork - please tell me I'm missing something obvious.
  6. I'm with @er-minioI have a UK spec NX 350 F-Sport and have been very impressed with the Sport setting (chassis and steering), even with the car on 20" run-flats ride is IMO excellent. From memory the Takumi comes with the "sunroof", that will alter the handling dynamics with all that extra mass at the car's highest point.
  7. Thanks @Andy B Any form of illumination would be beneficial, so I'll start with the interior as that's looks straight forward. Have to say coming from a BMW 335D with minimal extra tech (££££) this NX is quite the learning curve. Next challenge is to work out why seat position / mirror settings aren't being remembered when my wife and I swap - we both have our own Lexus profile and separate keys.
  8. Yesterday I picked up a NX 350h and very nice it is too. Having just about got to grips with Lexus Link, Android Auto & 50 shades of mood lighting I'm stumped as to how courtesy lights can be enabled. I'd just like some vehicle lights (other than teeny door handle lights) to come on when I unlock the car and to stay on for a few seconds after I exit and lock the door - anyone able to tell me how!
