  1. Was the car in Wales or just you?. If it was, whereabouts please?
  2. Lexus, goes faster than you can possibly imagine
  3. Any update as to your thoughts on the bollard please?
  4. You just need a trunk monkey https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gju1AWFfsmg
  5. It's not supposed to be a snug fit It's meant to spin on the steering wheel so there is less purchase on it for the miscreants to force it
  6. Both Shell and Tesco contain ethanol. Esso did the only ethanol free but that changed in September. As far as I'm aware there is no ethanol free fuel in the UK any longer
  7. I use this one and find it okay. Doesn't smell like car leather, more like shoe leather in my opinion. All very subjective though They also do a new car smell. Not tried it myself
  8. Polishes are abrasive Car Wax sometimes contains abrasives
  9. I'd certainly be interested in getting the plates fitted to my ES
  10. Thanks for all the replies
  11. Thanks for the replies both 👍 I didn't fancy leaving a cable bought from AliExpress permanently plugged in if it was always on
  12. Does anyone know if the USB sockets inside the 'ashtray' are permanently live please?
  13. Thanks for the reply. Hopefully this will be rolled out to all, though I would imagine it will cost Toyota a fair bit of all owners want it fitted
  14. Hopefully the plate isn't just for the RX, not seen any mention of plates in circulation for the other models
  15. Thanks for the review. I'm a bit dubious with the poor packaging and lack of a case. Looking ay their website I see they offer a 3 year warranty for £3.99....wonder if it's 'worth the paper it's written on'
  16. Dont think there's much leather, more pleather ! I am using Adams Interior Detailer with Microban. Spray on a microfibre cloth and wipe. No horrible glossy finish, just clean. It also has UV protection properties. There are different scents (I currently use the Cedarwood) but there's not really a lot of smell to it
  17. It doesn't stop the damage being caused though, that's a benefit of a visible deterrent..to hopefully send them on to someone else's car
  18. There are plenty of wheel cleaners that don't damage alloy wheels
  19. The problem with that list is the fact it doesn't give the year range. Fiesta, Golf etc. have been in production for a very long time. I would imagine that the percentage of Lexus vehicles owned in the areas would be small in any case. A better percentage would be those stolen out of of the numbers owned / parked on that area. I've seen elsewhere on the forum where it has been said something like seven Lexus stolen in one area in one night (I believe it was Richmond) Also you would have to consider, along with the age of the vehicle, how many were 'joyriders' where the vehicles are later recovered. The Lexus, Land Rover etc are being stolen for export
  20. I wonder if dealers will offer thisot perhaps it's tied to a deal with the underwriters of Lexus insurance
  21. Thanks for the reply PDM
