Is the technical spec (e.g horsepower etc) of demonstrator and testing car in dealership same as the vehicle from factory order ?, or it might be downgrade in the power output?

My dealership (the one in London) is not good. Not proactive to update, and even no reply after my email. I don't have expectation on the ETA. From originally May to August to September (my order was place in mid Jan). I already placed an order for another model from Mercedes, whoever faster to deliver, I'll take that. I know Lexus is better however reality does not allow me to have infinite waiting time for a vehicle unfortunately. Perhaps I can sell the brand new Mercedes after 6 months usage then the ETA of Lexus can be delivered in end of 2022 or Q1 of 2023 in worst case. Sigh.

Congrats. May I know the progress of of each stage was being updated step by step? or it was one-shot to get update from order in progress to in transit?

Thanks Mate for your advice. I believe Lexus is really a good brand producing great cars. However, long waiting time in UK without commitment is really desperate.

May I know how you can ask the dealership to refund? I did but his reply was that my estimate delivery date in the signed order form is not yet due. However, the Lexus official website mentioned the deposit can be refunded. Although the deposit is not the big amount, I want to know the consumer's right of cancelling order. I need the car for daily life indeed. Thanks.

In the Lexus official website, it states the 500 deposit is refundable if the consumers change their mind. Is it really easy to get it refund from the dealership in reality? Have anyone experience on this scenario ?

My order was placed in middle of Jan, original due end of June, then move to August, and now seems September. Really frustrating and the date might be changing again. I consider to cancel the order to buy another brand.
