  1. Same setting here, a welcome change to a "simple" white LED ambiance lighting I used to have in my VW. Lexus kept it subtle and it has to be quit dark to be really seen
  2. Got a recall letter yesterday. Seems that they are trying to fix an e-call function bug that may or may not occur under certain conditions. It will be done over the air (such avoiding a "pit stop" at the dealership) and as we all know with electronics gizmo, it will either fix the "maybe" bug or break the DCM unit...😇
  3. It was the up to date version. Uninstalled it...reinstalled it and it started to work again
  4. Today, after an update (on iOS), the app is stuck in an infinite loop of signing in. Seems that biometric ID is now badly broken.
  5. If mine was not a company car, I would have pick the 350h with ML audio and pano roof...but French car market (and attached taxes) is weird to say the least and the 450h+ has lower taxes (in fact no registration fee, no yearly pollution tax, no CO2 malus....) and had a lower rent and TCO for my company. Terrane Kaki is a beautiful color that suits well to hazelnut interior...gives the car a British vibe 😉 (Do I love light interior colors now that my car is a kid free zone !) LSS 3.0 is a fine safety suit. I found it reliable, effective and smooth. I only got one case of disconnection in 6 000 miles with the conditions I described. I had my share of fog and I suppose as long as it is not a freezing one, LSS should work fine (Analog system in my ex Passat worked fine with fog but quitted when the radar got ice on it in wintery conditions.
  6. Terrane Kaki glittering under the autumn sun in Normandy...after a few heavy showers 🙂 I do confirm that the electronic helps (LTA, adaptative cruise control) do shut off themselves under very poor conditions ( very heavy rain at night with a lot of water on the highway). The car does warn you very clearly. I lost LTA first then adaptative cruise control and at one time even the proximity sensors shut themselves off.
  7. Thanks for the advice, will check sooner with my dealership
  8. Just got a letter from Lexus (France) telling me that my dealer is now able to provide me with the long awaited for second key FOB. This ends a 6 months waiting time. I will probably wait for the annual service for a "global" pit stop 🙂
  9. NX picked up April 22 2023 : one "classic key", one key card, and one mechanical key waiting for the electronics. No news yet... I was told it may be a 6 months + waiting time
  10. no auto reset per se on the NX. Just hold the ODO button as Ken stated I did not see the feature in all the car I owned / rented
  11. No I did not. I drove a VW Passat estate for 4 and a half years. Bootspace was over 600l 🙃
  12. Was lucky enough to get the lock bolt with the car (but not the second key). Rotation done in a specialized shop as crossing RR to FL and RL to FR implies balancing the new front tires Resetting TPMS by myself worked as a charm (a mere 5 minutes following the manual instruction)
  13. Feedback post summer holidays. Over 2500 km done (and one speeding ticket 😇 a few miles from home). Here are a few trivia facts : - Car handled great on twisty and steep road of the Vosges mountain (Mode S was especially handy on the downhill parts) - Mpg was very low in HEV mode on these B roads especially in the Rhine valley (5.0L / 100 km with 4 to 5 people on board) - Managed to keep the MPG below 6l/100 km on the return trip avoiding highways (Toll that I did not pay will finance the fine 😉 ) - Tire swap done at 6 000 km (I managed to remember where the antitheft bolt adapter was stashed) - Trunk space is good enough to carry a small lawmower without lowering the rear bench and definitely big enough for 4 to 5 adults (managing you do not travel with your groceries)
  14. Well small add-on for Q1 : S mode is not "play" mode per se as the NX does not even simulate any gear shifting. S mode is intended to be used when driving down a steep descent, you want to protect your brake system from overheating, it will add engine braking to regenerative braking thus limiting the use of friction breaking. The paddles allow you to set up up the strength of engine breaking (pretty much the way you use manual transmission). It is super efficient (and I am currently using it in the Vosges mountains in France) Enjoy your NX, 350h and 450h+ are amazing cars with a (sometimes) capricious infotainment system...just enough to remind you that perfection is beyond human grasp (even Japanese automakers 😇)
  15. Pretty linear curve. Complete charge from 20 % in 8H00 on an 1,8 kW charger 44.3 / 42.6 predicted (miles of course)
  16. What you can do is use charge mode from time to time for a few miles and top of your tank every time you have a chance to do so.
  17. I do love this palomino / beige / hazelnut interior and the added colored touches of MY24 (glovebox and al) look great
  18. Funny thing, as the NX collects awards in England and North America for two consecutive years, it is despised by French automotive press and automotive industry "influencers" and rarely included in any comparative panel. As for the service, if the car is indeed Japanese made, service will always be with a Gallic flare but with premium icing (ex : you'll always have to help yourself to get a coffee but it will be a free espresso in a real cup instead of an insta coffee in a plastic cup you payed more than 40p. Will see for the 1st year maintenance or the 5K kilometers tire swap igf they are more focused on details than Volkswagen who managed to return my car (which had light cream colored interior) full of greasy fingerprints and with items missing in the trunk...
  19. No issues here with the auto wiper but it does rain less south of the Channel 😉 When you say auto dip high beams do you mean auto adaptive high beams ? The last are just great to use and other drivers did not complain about it (yet)
  20. 23 km (14 Mi) drive in Paris city and outskirts this Sunday Took me 1H40 🤯 but less than 3,5 l per 100 km This car and its hybrid system are amazing
  21. Malcom, dashboard EV range is pretty consistent with the app. Stated 66 km with AC on . It was a very sunny 30°C + week-end in normandy so AC was a must have even
