  1. I’m sure I’ve seen videos online about how to connect a 12v supply to the vehicle while changing the battery so all your media centre settings don’t get lost or return to default. It can take an age especially on Lexus/Toyotas to do things like reset the separate tone controls for each mode...CD, FM, DAB, USB, etc. Then there’s sat nav preferences and more. Might be worth having a look but I hope you’re sorted soon.
  2. Hi, the new sat nav files are, I’m sure, loaded using the USB port and may be available online...strange how the system could have become corrupted. Hope you get it sorted soon with not too much expense.
  3. Yes, I’ll look out for you too 😊 We were out around Northumberland yesterday and spotted five Porsche Boxsters, a couple of Maserati’s but not one other CT200h, no taste some folks 😉
  4. I’m on the outskirts of Sunderland, towards Chester le Street.
  5. Many thanks to everyone for your valuable info and willingness to help.
  6. Thanks for your replies. I’ve just read about Iron X and seen videos on YouTube, looks like it could be the answer, has anyone here used it? I don’t have an address for the previous owner which might have given me a clue to where it was kept. I remember it used to be shown on the log book but that seems to have stopped now or is there a different way to get that information? Thanks again guys.
  7. Sorry, just noticed that my car could be Eminent White Pearl. My service book says Sonic White 00 85 but online research says Eminent White is 00 85. On the passenger side (left) front door frame where there’s the vin number etc. I see a code 0 85. Confused.
  8. Hi, I have a CT200h, had it for nearly 2 weeks now and love it. On giving it my first full wash, polish and protect. I’ve noticed really, really tiny brown rust like specs in the paint finish...I’m sure the car is Sonic (pearl) White...I’m convinced it’s not rust in the body panels because it’s on the (plastic) bumpers too. Anyone else noticed the same on their car? I also see blueish/purple/pink flecks in the paint when in the sun but I’d say that’s normal. Thanks.
  9. I just think the settings seem high to achieve just a little warmth even after 20 mins running. I changed the cabin filter yesterday thinking it might help the air flow because the original one was pretty dirty...not due for service 4 until July on it’s 4th birthday. I will try the auto setting in the morning. Thank you.
  10. Hi, still a few cold nights up north! Compared to most other cars I’ve owned I’m finding it difficult to heat up the interior without temperature settings of 25.5 or higher and the blower on 4 bars or higher. Most other cars, like our present Toyota, are warming up nicely at 22.5. I do have heated seats but the settings for the climate control seem a bit severe to get a bit of heat going. I know the temperature settings may not be close to being accurate too. Is this a trait of the CT200h or hybrids in general? Any hints or tips or suggested settings greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  11. Thanks so much for your help, all understood : )
  12. Hi folks, first post from a new owner. My CT200h has the round dial and push to select audio/sat nav system but the manual I have is for the small square movable mouse type system with 10 inch screen. My question is, with my system, is it possible to enter destinations using the speak button on the steering wheel like I can to make phone calls? Thanks.
