  1. 2004 Lexus LS430 facelift in blue with beige leather. Currently on 144k miles but still in use so will rise slowly. MOT Feb 2025 with no advisories. Folder full of service history with timing belt done at 110k miles. Lots at Lexus main dealers Drives smoothly with no knocks or rattles and still pulls well. Mechanically this car is great. Being the facelift, this comes with the more desirable 6 speed automatic, gear changes are smooth and effortless. The exhaust has had the popular backbox delete, which gives a wonderful V8 rumble through the 4 inch stainless tips. OEM backboxes will be included which could be welded back on. Various air suspension units have been replaced in the past, all work perfectly with no sagging. A bluemusic bluetooth receiver has been installed discretely, so you can stream music via Bluetooth to the OEM Mark Levinson system. Satnav also still works, and can provide information on roadworks (either witchcraft, or they've been working on the A3/M25 junction for 20 years). The OEM wheels (whilst included in the sale) were corroding and have been badly kerbed. Replaced with Rota GTR wheels which are of similar style, but wider and lighter. These are wrapped in Michelin Primacy (MP4 on the front, MP3 on the rear). A full size spare 5th OEM wheel is in the boot. Various age related bodywork scars, some will buff out, many will not. Previous owner lived in central London so this does have a few scrapes. Only one that causes issue is the front drivers side parking sensor which has fallen into the bumper, so life is better with the parking sensors turned off! Other minor issues include: Left hand side trip computer has never worked in my ownership, but mileometer has been fine along with the right hand side trip computer. (Using this I calculate mpg to be around 32 on a motorway run btw) Assume the door mirror switch doesn't work, but the mirrors still move electronically when seat presets are chosen. Steering wheel tilt works, but reach does not. There is a tiny spot of rust under the passenger wing mirror, and the sunroof has rust on the underside but this is common and does not leak through. Other than that, pretty sure all other toys and goodies work including massage, heated and reclining rear seats, heated and cooled front seats, rear fridge, keyless go, cruise control etc. The car has really been faultless in my ownership. I really am quite fond of this car, and don't think you can get more luxurious or reliable for the money. Reason for selling is that I will be renovating a house, and whilst the boot is very sizeable, an estate would be more useful. In my ownership, the car has mainly been used for runs across the country to visit parents, with the occasional trip over to France. I also have the french "ulez" sticker to include in this. £5k. Bank transfer only on collection KT5, Surrey/London border.
  2. I've tried 2 different y cables. And tried various connotations of plugging into different sockets. Only plugging in the bluemusic results in nothing. Unplugging the dash cable stops any of the stereo controls from working at all
  3. I'm trying to install a Bluemusic Bluetooth adapter to the ML Mark Levinson stereo. I plug the cable from the dash into one end of the 6+6 splitter I have, and then plug that into the hole at the back of the head unit, and the head unit still works. However as soon as I plug the Bluetooth adapter into the other end of the splitter, the headunit buttons refuse to work. Any ideas? Or is it possible to just be gone with this ML system and just chuck in a double din?
