I am running it on an old Vista machine Sony Vaio as i thought it would present less problems

Question about Carista as no matter what I do I cannot get Techstream to work at all so I am considering the Carista app and would benefit from the lexus wners experience . On the Carista website they only list IS250 3rd gen as compatible , Has anyone used it on a 2nd gen XE20 Model succesfully ? I would like to read autobox,ABS,Airbag etc including activating items. Many Thanks

I have just sorted the same thing on my IS it is the caliper slide pins worn , it may be they have worn badly and damaged the carrier but in y case the pins sorted it . it is worth trying new pins they come with seals and correct grease around £25 a set to do both sides these are front only . Rears are different. Part numbers are on the card in pics, these are not Lexus items I don't think Lexus supply them without a carrier.

the "P" bush that the nut sticks out of is very worn and the click sound is the nut hitting the subframe you can clearly see it at the 1.53 point
