    It must be something to do with the speed of the car and not the handbrake because functionality resumes at 0-1 mph with no handbrake action (I have tried lifting handbrake until warning light comes on but this has no effect either...

    Well the car can detect if someone (or something) is in the passenger seat (the seatbelt sign starts flashing) - surely then it should be possible to use full functionality of SatNav - this is a really annoying feature.

    Has anyone got a copy of the latest SatNav DVD? If so is it possible to make a copy? Will this even work or are there any security controls? Thanks in advance for any help, have just got an armrest fitted fitted and now cannot afford a software update
