  1. :D Hello mate, how's things? Thanks for the birthday wishes guys. :D
  2. Thanks Barrie, thats good to know. @ Gord and Marcus, After reading about other peoples problems with the V-pro and certainly the starting issue, I too am begining to think the best and final solution would be to change it. I might give Pete at Thor a ring, see what prices they are doing.
  3. thanks for ur input matey. in what way do u mean its excellent?? just trying to get a feel for whats out there and cost etc.... It can easily handle the power of the s/c and more. Also it feels OEM if not better, plus not expensive. If your staying with the s/c and maybe adding a few hp onto that then you wont find much better than the Helix organic clutch. Only reason I changed to a cerametalic clutch was because I burnt the organic one abusing launch control.
  4. Mine was the first 1f-ge IS200 to have the V-Pro installed. I'm now thinking of putting something else in it to get it sorted.
  5. No mate I haven't. The way I see it at the moment is that I left my car at RGS for the work to be done. Who they decided to use is down to them as I am their customer not Abbey's. This way I've only got one garage that I can have a go at / deal with and am not running around in circles, back and forth between two garages. (If you know what I mean).
  6. How much for the Emanage Ultimate and fitting / mapping Sam? Are there any starting issues or engine lights coming on now and again? Do you have any cats fitted or straight through freeflowing system?
  7. The car is at Abbey still. Apparently they now can't map it. Would have been nice to have known that 8 months or so ago. I have said to RGS that I will pick my car up from Abbey as I'm fed up with excuses and general bullsh*t from both garages. Apparently the bumper is at RGS in Wellingborough so as not to damage it on the lorry transporting it. I might be getting paranoid but I'm starting to think maybe something has happened to it, or even if I have a car. It just seems people don't want to give me my car back or for me to pick it up. Has anybody been to Abbey lately? Have you seen my car down there?
  8. Helix organic clutch is excellent and should be more than what you need for the s/c
  9. Oh I'll be very suprised if its back this week. Maybe this year. If its not back tomorrow then RGS have said they'll give me the money back I paid for mapping as I gave them 2 weeks to get it back finished or not.. Which I think was 5 weeks ago. So another month knocked off the calender.
  10. Still waiting mate. Should know more tomorrow.
  11. Anybody know the number for Sony customer services? Can't find it anywhere, Cheers :)
  12. Finally found the receipt for the laptop. I didn't want to phone Customer services untill I was sure of how far out of the years warrenty I am. The laptop was bought for £899.99 on 29-08-07. So I've had it a year and 2 months!! Now to give them a ring..
  13. I still have an original Fargo dash conversion for sale in green. PM :winky:
  14. Cheers I'll check them out. I tried hooking up the HDMI cable when the screen was down but it still didn't work.

    Spurs

Robbie should still get a good reception for what he did for Spurs and then leave for a boyhood club. He's not Berbatov but then fans are indeed fickle
  16. I bought my IS200 mats from Lexus Cov in 2004 for £80 and the rear boot liner was also £80. The boot liner got modded for the rear strut bar though

    Spurs

They'll stay up (pity). However how much have Spurs paid in managers, assistants, directors of football etc in the past few years? They paid off Jol and some to Sevilla for tapping up Ramos? Now paying Ramos 15 mil? for sacking him?
  18. Some of you might remember I had a lot of trouble with my laptop harddrive amongst other things over a year ago. So I bought a new Sony VAIO. I've had it a little over a year now and a few months ago the screen started to go blank and would not go back on or let me do anything. Turning it off then back on worked for a while untill the screen became pixellated on start up. It would then run a diagnostic check and say there was a hardware error and shut itself down to prevent any further damage. I took it to the tech guys at PC World to fix. But after having it for 2 weeks they told me that because it was a Sony they could not repair it as Sony only have the parts and do not sell them. They only repair Sony in-house but it was likely to be a graphics card problem (rgb thing??). I phoned the Sony number to be told that they could pick it up and repair it. But as it could be a graphics card fault it would need replacing and subsequently so would the motherboard. As the laptop is over a year old (only just) it is out of the warranty and for pick up and to fix the problem would cost me £691. The laptop a little over a year ago cost me £800 brand new. So I'm not going to pay that to fix it when I could buy a new (not Sony) laptop for that price anyway. Buying an expensive Sony laptop I thougth it would last me more than a little over a year. It has not been damaged in anyway, only a manufacturer hardware fault. Does anybody know anywhere that could fix it other than Sony or is it only Sony that can do it? TIA
  19. Hi guys, I really appreciate everybodys concern I took the car to the local garage that did the engine work as they wanted to get somebody to finish the map off themselves. However the guy had and accident and couldn't do it at the time. They then took it to Abbey bacause they know one of the guys down there. I've not been dealing with Abbey myself only the local garage, because it was them that I entrusted the car with back so long ago. If anybody has the info they require or knows of it then I would really appreciate it or if you say its been passed on then thanks very much indeed. I've ceaseed contacting the garage now untill the end of the month because thats when I've given them to have my car back. Then I'll be seeking other means to get it back and what to do. On a personal note I don't give a f##k anymore about the car. I've lost all interest in it and am not bothered about driving around in a 'fast' Lexus. I'm not even bothered about seeing the project out. I am bothered however about having a car to drive around in and that the car needs to be finished for me to sell it. With the current financial climate and being in the building construction trade it is a very close possability that I will soon loose the car to creditors anyway. So I'll never get to drive the finished car...
  20. Low compression pistons. Also uprate the rods (A MUST). There is no thicker headgasket for the engine. I bought one from a guy that had some made and it (s) led to a world of trouble.
