  1. would love to play this but the XBOX Died 3 red lights and its just outa warranty (the usual thing i Read)

so i have now sent it to Bill gates n co and shelled out £85.00 thanks Bill

so i will play this in the next month or so wwhen i get it back :crybaby:

I would have smashed it up. I got the 360 when it first came out and mine did it as well but was covered under warranty so i had it sent back.

Hardly played on it since, waste of time just glad i never paid for it.

    Play more on my PSP.

  2. When you get round to taking the whole unit out, there is 4 bolts i think that hold the unit in, also 2 little screws on the top to keep the cover on the top of the unit take them out. Then put the rest of it back together without these bolts. The unit should then be able to be slid in and out when you remove the traction control buttons and heated seat pannel. You can only see a slight gap between the top of the cd unit and the climate control unit but nothing major! The cd unit wont come out when u drive around cos of the weight and the angle its on!

It makes sense now dude. Cheers :winky:

  3. Im sure ive already posted this before bout just leaving the bolts that hold it in, then when you do get a cd stuck you just pull it out, then remove the cd, once its out slide the unit back in and reload your cd's saves loads of time in dismantlin it every time!!

    Chris

Which bolts are they then mate?

  4. Anees you are talkin absolute sense mate,it is a comp on wheels. The mods one can do are huge tho,but very expensive, especially on the M3. The M3 cats and X pipe i have, set me back £1.5k,thats just a 3hp increase which i feel was alot.considering you get 50hp for £2.5k on the lex with the S/C.The E46 is expensive to mod in comparison to the e36,but like i said b4 its only gonna get cheaper as soon as the E92 hits the market.

Pip congrats bud, thats awesome,i like the convertible alot, just its a little heavier than the coupe which put me of a little, but it doesnt make a huge difference in real life.Im happy with the M3 thats why i decided to keep it alongside an RS6,just cos its an awesome machine for what it is.The biturbo on the rs6 make it a quicker car on paper at least, but it certainly aint as much fun to drive as an M car.

BTW these guys are the daddies,i use em for everything

Jesus you got the RS6 as well Rsarin?

I must admit that i do like the RS4 estate more. Both awesome cars though.

Anees i will bang pics up soon dude. :winky:

I'll prob keep the lex for another year and get an E46 in time for next summer, I just got a fat pay rise so it'll be fully noticable by next year. I just love lookin at the lex, but it aint all that to drive, I want a real drivers car with bags of go, cause sadly the lovely lex is all bark and no bite, all show and no go, unless you get a charged 300 hmmm

    So very true.

BTW Rsarin i have just secured my e46 soft top M3, in black for a decent price. :winky:

  6. i,ve recently purchased a lexus is 200 and the cd player won't eject the cds you can hear the motor working away but will not eject the cd's when you try to play them it comes up error 3 i've tried disconnecting the battery to see if this resolves the problem but to no avail, is there a way to get the discs out other than to send the unit off.

can i get a boot changer that will run off this head unit or can i get the head unit repaired and if so where, i'm led to believe that the is 200 has an amp which is hard to get audio wires to fit aftrmarket units ( to many myths an rumours) somebody must know the answers.

    Many thanks Dan

It's really easy to get the cd's out, just a bit of patience and and a small screwdriver. mine did the 'dreaded err3' I took the cd's out and 6months down the line Iv'e had no problems.

lift up and unclip the felt pad above the centre air vents

    undo the 2x 10mm bolts

pull firmly the air vents out.

undo the two 10mm bolts that were under there

pul the heater switches out from underneath sliding towards you

undo the 2x 10mm bolts that were behind them

NOW V IMPORTANT, MASKING TAPE up either side the air con unit and the stereo on the dash

lift the stereo and air con out carefully as to not damage the dash

unclip the connectors from the back

undo the the stereo from the side brackets (again bolts and I think they were 10mm if i remember right, about 6 in total) and take off

you will need a small posidrive screw driver

I think there is 2 small screws in the back and side to undo the top metal cover

there is a sring mecanism that clamps the cd trays down, its two springs, one from each side of the metal bar and the go down the side and fold in along the bottom and join together in the middle under the cd's, it is not a problem if it pings out because it is very easy to re-connect, you will have to unconnect one side and try not to let it undo then you will be able to acces the cd's, just flex them and they should just pull out, you may need to cut them out (depending wich tray it's in and where the lazer has stopped) just use some scissors, (£10 cd is cheaper than £500 stereo)

reverse process and put back in car, toggle through the empty cd's and the err3 should dissapear and the display that tells you what cd slots are full dissapear.

Did exactly this today and it was a pain in the bottome. Cleared the problem. Will only be using single cd at a time from now on.

Want to keep the OEM stereo and look for the resale.

  7. i'd be up for it....providing it wasn't in June (July or August would be better).

Do they do other photo's as well as the white room shots??

I do prefer scenic shoots but from the pics above they take loads of multi angled shots and for £70 its a bargin. My mate took her little lad to a studio for some pics, ended up paying well over £200 for about 10 photos :duh:

@Lee....wtf mate.....i read your post and u didn't deserve that mate!!!

I didn't think so either, it was all typed innocently and then bang, warning.

Just waiting to hear back from Bazza  I'll be trying to get it revoked though.

As far as I know I have never been offensive to anyone on here, its not in my nature. So there must be another reason behind the warning.

What you get a warning for mate, passing wind?

:offtopic: Anyway, way off topic now, I have added the comment back in.

Back on topic now, been looking around the net for more photos like this and they are pretty impressive :)

From your signature youre making a pacifiying comment about your 10% warnning? Good luck.

Get over it soft @ss..Is this all you have to your life, to be on a CAR forum? You arent aware of the commie propaganda machine on here, oh my word LMFAO.

Get to 60% like me and then youre rocking :D
